8 Best Bar & Grill near Barrie

“We normally only patronize independent restaurants but my son and daughter in Law are big Jack Astor fans, so we had dinner there with them.
My expectations were not that high so I was very pleasantly surprised.
I really liked the lively upbeat atmosphere with great lighting and pictures/artwork.
The hosts and wait staff were very pleasant and professional. I liked the team serving concept too, great for efficiency.
And the food was quite good.
I had a meal size salad called the Fiesta, highly recommend this if you are into zesty salads with a large piece of guacamole.
My son had a nice New York steak with a large baked potato and grilled vegetables, very good.
And my wife and Daughter in Law had a chicken wrap and chicken fingers, both quite good.
Deserts are reasonably priced and delicious too.
Even the gardens outside are healthy and well kept.

“I would comfortably say I have been to most if not all main spots in Barrie but this is where I keep going back to. The chef is amazing and you can never go wrong worth something as simple as sweet potato fries and wings or even a little more complex like their beef vindaloo.
The service is always great and the cocktails are really good !!“

The outside of the bar looks run down and not so inviting, however, once inside the staff are really friendly and the food is great, the price is even better!

“Went 2x when we visited horseshoe, great experiences both times, food was great along with service. When we asked our server where we could get a deck of cards he came back with a deck for us before we left.

“The truth is manager would hook up with girls in his office stealing moneny from at louis and allowing his bartenders to to coke in the bathroom and god knows what else all the pools competitive poola and so forth are botched and have determined winners like old regulars that have put forth money into the estqblishment almoat all of the regulars drink and drive and will go further to say ive wqrched guys come out of restroom and id go in and find abunch of coke on the bathroom table there , bartenders getting into regulars cara to take shots of alcohal and indisend exposure by older woman with the age to be someone granny. Needless to say also got bartenders im theyre that would be doing coke with the managers brother aswell“
