“This place is always phenomenal. I had the best risotto (with grilled veg, pine nuts, etc.) ever, which is huge coming from am Italian :). Partner ordered the beef pappardelle (a special), and I have to confess that it is making me rethink being vegetarian. Portions are robust, prices are fair, and service is always beyond simply bringing food and taking orders. Always appreciate the good chats. See you again soon :)”

Our waiter Mike was incredible 🥰 The service and food was exceptional and before we left we made another reservation. My husband and I are Italian and the food has such deep flavour all made to perfection, everything from the start to the very end (appetizers to dessert) was the BEST ! We both left there so extremely satisfied… experience it yourself - you will NOT be disappointed. It’s our favourite restaurant now, hands down beats any other restaurant in Orillia. Worth every dollar spent there. Can’t wait to go there again ❤️”

“We have been getting cakes here for years. This year we ordered a cake with a photo on it and it was absolutely amazing! The photo quality was next level and they added sprinkles to match the colours in the photo which was such a nice touch/surprise. My son was so happy with his cake. Always a 10/10.”

Some dishes such as mushrooms and manchego are exquisite (though it’s upsetting they try to remove this dish every time they re-invent themselves, bringing it back if enough people complain). Since the change to a cantina I haven’t enjoyed the food as much though, and they are changing yet again. Id prefer a menu that’s consistent and well executed with explorations into new cuisines rather than we need to reopen as a *insert cuisine here* restaurant. I really miss the menu that was relatively unchanged through the early 2020s. Seating couple be more comfortable. Service can be a bit slower, specifically food. Cocktails are great, and if you like scotches and tequilas/mezcals this is the place to try an extensive list. Wine nights and other tasting nights are always fun. Always happy for a lunch or an evening at picnic. Lots of great details going on here.”

“I was served the most delicious burger I’ve ever eaten. The made in house patty was succulent and cooked to perfection. The boar bacon was juicy. The pickled onions were the perfect pucker-y condiment. The local cheese was divine. Pair that with their top notch fries, beautifully seasoned and served with a house made ketchup. I’ve been dreaming about it since. Our server was wonderful, A1 service! She (I can’t recall her name) came for a quality check and I turned with a single tear running down my cheek and asked her to hold me, I was having a spiritual moment with my meal. The Innis & Gunn was cold and the lines were clean! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the food that we had! We will be back - and that’s a promise!!!”

“You either need to be with someone who has been here before your first time or have studied the menu beforehand. It is very confusing as nothing is easily understood when you look at the menu when ordering. It lacks detail on the board, and the photos flash so fast you don’t have time to see them.
As we were adding toppings, the cashier didn’t make a suggestion based on what it seemed like we were looking for. The next person in line was also confused.”

“On the hunt for the best fried chicken sandwich in Orillia. Couchiching won’t be at the top for that, but it’s still a great spot. Celebrated my big bro’s bday here and the vibes were good. Sandwich (mid tier) was solid, sweet potato fries were okay (mid tier), but the sunshine city beer (gold tier) will keep me coming back every time. Reasonable prices.”

By mistake I ordered the Benny Breakfast instead of the Jackpot Breakfast, Carrie offered to exchange my breakfast even though the mistake was mine. I really appreciated her sincere offer and her kindness.”

“We were in town for one night for a concert and had made plans for dinner at Tre Sorelle. I had the pesto ravioli with mushrooms, spinach and sundried tomatoes. It was the perfect marriage of flavors and textures. My wife had the veal parmigiana. The veal was tender and the sauce was spot on. The portions were perfect and the service warm and friendly. Highly recommend, and would happily visit next time in town.”
