Our waiter Mike was incredible 🥰 The service and food was exceptional and before we left we made another reservation. My husband and I are Italian and the food has such deep flavour all made to perfection, everything from the start to the very end (appetizers to dessert) was the BEST ! We both left there so extremely satisfied… experience it yourself - you will NOT be disappointed. It’s our favourite restaurant now, hands down beats any other restaurant in Orillia. Worth every dollar spent there. Can’t wait to go there again ❤️”

“Fantastic reataraunt and so glad to see the rebrand to mexician, much needed in Orillia!

Love the build your own tacos, you get 6 tortillas and it fills you up nicely. Most of the other things we tried on the menu were also great!

Only downside is restaraunt is small and often packed!

“I was served the most delicious burger I’ve ever eaten. The made in house patty was succulent and cooked to perfection. The boar bacon was juicy. The pickled onions were the perfect pucker-y condiment. The local cheese was divine. Pair that with their top notch fries, beautifully seasoned and served with a house made ketchup. I’ve been dreaming about it since. Our server was wonderful, A1 service! She (I can’t recall her name) came for a quality check and I turned with a single tear running down my cheek and asked her to hold me, I was having a spiritual moment with my meal. The Innis & Gunn was cold and the lines were clean! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the food that we had! We will be back - and that’s a promise!!!”

“The food was really good — the steak was well cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell they put effort into the quality, not just presentation.

The atmosphere was calm and modern, a bit more elevated than your typical casual spot. It’s a nice place if you want something relaxed but still feel a little upscale.

The service was professional and smooth. Everything came on time and the staff made sure we were taken care of.

Overall, great experience. If you’re thinking about getting the steak, go for it — it’s worth it.”

What really stood out was the excellent customer service. Emily was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. “I was up in Orillia today and thought why not try Pizza hut here. I must say I havent had it this good in decades. The ones in most other towns are hit and miss . They tend to be a white crust with no flavour. Todays reminded me of back in the day, when the dough was fluffy and it was a nice golden brown.”

“Great atmosphere, great beers and delicious food. Couchiching craft brewing has a great selection of beers and the food is surprisingly good. Lots of space to sit down and enjoy with larger groups (we were a group of 6) and smaller groups alike. Or maybe just stop by for a pint. Highly reccomend!”

He was up-beat, polite, and professional. He helped us to make an informed decision. Our meals and beverages were served relatively quickly, and tasted fresh.

I wish the portion sizes were slightly larger, but that is first world problem.

Overall we had a good experience. We would very likely return.”

“About once a month I will grab a Big Mary on Monday. This past Monday I was fortunate enough to stop at Mary Brown’s in Orillia. It was without a doubt the best Big Mary I have ever had. Normally I would give the chicken sandwich I get about a seven out of 10 and this was one was at least an 11 out of 10. The batter was so light it was like tempura batter. The chicken was moist and juicy. Absolutely fabulous! I think they should be training all the new franchise owners, because they definitely know what they’re doing.”

A good-tasting pizza at a newly-inflated take-away price when on special. My current favourite Orillia pizza. Avoid the convenient pre-made pizza slices, as they are NOT as tasty once reheated by the staff.

You will find that regular priced or delivered items are much more expensive than in-store or app deals, so find the deals on offer before placing an order.

For example: a large, four ingredient pizza's carry out price was just $16.99 (May 2019) or less including tax. Change to a jumbo with the same ingredients and you'll pay double for a pie that is only a little larger. Note that in 2026 the prices have become MUCH higher.
