“About once a month I will grab a Big Mary on Monday. This past Monday I was fortunate enough to stop at Mary Brown’s in Orillia. It was without a doubt the best Big Mary I have ever had. Normally I would give the chicken sandwich I get about a seven out of 10 and this was one was at least an 11 out of 10. The batter was so light it was like tempura batter. The chicken was moist and juicy. Absolutely fabulous! I think they should be training all the new franchise owners, because they definitely know what they’re doing.“

“I've found in my last few visits that the chicken tenders are a little inconsistent. Sometimes they are excellent, other times they are underwhelming. For example, the spicy ones will have next to no spice, or the chicken will have more strange, chewy bits in the tender, or the breading will be too much in relation to the meat. Would ever say they've been bad, just also never the same. The fries, however, are always excellent and easily the best fast food french fries there are, at least in my opinion. Service is always friendly here, if occasionally a little slow. Put simply, I will be back, I just wish this location was as consistent in its quality as other Popeyes I have frequented in the past.“
