Our server was a friendly young man. We had fish and chips and the steak sandwich on naan bread. Good sized portions and food was delicious. Found it a little unusual that our napkins were taken off the table when we finished eating as we still may have needed them.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dock of the Bay Steak & Seafood Grille! From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was prepared to perfection, every bite was full of flavor and cooked exactly as ordered.
Our server, Hailey, truly elevated the entire evening. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient, always there when we needed something, yet never intrusive. Her warm personality and professionalism made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for.
The setting; wow!!! The restaurant overlooks the stunning Muskoka Bay, offering a breathtaking view that pairs perfectly with a relaxing meal. Whether you’re dining indoors or on the patio, the ambiance is both serene and upscale.
Highly recommend this spot for a memorable meal in Muskoka. Can’t wait to return!

The food is incredible, the service is outstanding, and the view of the lake is breathtaking. The owners, Kay and her husband, along with their entire family, are fantastic. They are incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming—truly wonderful people. It feels like a second home to me. I’ve been coming here since 2012, and we absolutely love it.
Thank you, Kay!

One of the nicest spots to eat in Gravenhurst. Patio is located right above the water, with the most stunning view you can imagine. We were delighted to be sited outside. Be ware, for dining over the weekend, especially on the patio, make sure to make a reservation ahead of the time.
Place have some interesting items on the menu, which makes it to stand out of the comparable eateries in the region.
We enjoyed the food, but the highlight of our visit was chef’s desserts! Highly recommending to try them, they are both aesthetically pleasing and tasty, which is rare combination nowadays.

The food and service were both excellent. The only part that left me a bit confused was the seating arrangement. When I called to make the reservation, I specifically mentioned that we would like a side table by the lake, and it seemed to be arranged that way. However, when we arrived, the host—an Asian gentleman, not very young, possibly the owner—was very cold and expressionless the entire time.
When I reminded him about my request for that type of table, he simply gave us a four-person table and added an extra chair without much communication. Later, when I had to ask again myself, he finally added another small table, which made it three small tables put together. This was necessary, because without the extra space, our dishes would never have fit. We ordered two appetizers, two entrées (with extra scallops), and three pastas, all served on large plates—so the table was quite full.
That being said, our server was very friendly and attentive, and the live music starting at 5:30pm was a lovely touch. We left a tip and overall enjoyed the evening. The only disappointing part was the cold, unwelcoming attitude of the host at the front. I don’t know if he was the owner, but in any case, I believe showing warmth and respect to guests is very important—both from a professional and hospitality perspective. With four adults and one child, our total bill came to $392, which I believe deserves a proper warm welcome.

Wow....was not expecting that top notch experience...the Salmon was the hit....presentation and taste was good to the last bite. Making you want more. The server Miles or Myles was very good athis job and a hardworker...they let us dine as there last guest of the night while deciding to close doora for the night. Best choice made was eating here for the wifes BDay!

My wife and I had dinner here yesterday.
The server we had was an absolute delight. He was kind, attentive, gave great recommendations, and just really enhanced our experience.
The lamb was outstanding. I had the Rib Eye, although it was a bit overcooked from the medium rare I asked for, and was a bit fatty for my liking, but the sauce, veg, frites, salad and everything else with it was fantastic. The lemon cheese cake was also a delight. Being on the lake gave a really nice view. We would come back for sure and highly recommend.

An unexpected delight! The prosciutto- wrapped mahi-mahi was delicious. The veg was perfectly prepared. Key-lime pie for dessert was excellent. The service was great. Great location. Live music was an added bonus. Highly recommend.

Pretty rough experience. Ordered a $70 ribeye medium rare. It came well done. I never send things back, but for a $70 steak I sent it back. Then it came back again, blue. The fat was still cold. Manager came over and apologized. I said I would eat it regardless as my partner was nearly done her meal at this point but was disappointed in the quality for the cost. Manager was very kind but only ended up covering 50% of the steak, so I still paid $35 for a steak that was messed up twice.
The mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless.
Drink selection is decent. Prices are high. Location is great. I wish I’d had just gone to the Boston Pizza next door, a place that has “steak” in the name should have no trouble cooking one, particularly if they’re going to charge $70 for it.
