The service was good. Place was almost empty when we were there. Food was less than average and very expensive. Have had better seafood dishes at shacks in the maritimes. Not too impressed.

Jenny was the waitress tonight and the only waitress , we thought she was an owner the way she was hustling, you’d never know one waitress Amazing job Jenny 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 food amazing had fish and chips will definitely be back! Highly recommended, Jenny deserves a raise!!

On our way up to Sudbury and this is now a definite stop en route. The lobster roll was magnificent and the Caesar’s 🤯. Jennie’s secret recipe is amazing. Also you can get a lettuce wrap lobster roll for my gluten free friends out there.

My second time at this casual but delicious food spot! Owner Alyssa not only is one of the chefs but she also serves and is charming. We each ordered the Haddock fish and chips. The batter was incredibly light and tasty and the French fries were superb: crisp and yummy! Will definitely return and highly recommend this place. Also did not break the bank!

I called earlier in the afternoon to ask about getting some clam chowder for my dad's birthday. He's in palliative care and only eating little bits of soup. It was so important to me to make my dad's last birthday with us pleasant and memorable. You did not disappoint. So friendly on the phone, our orders for clam chowder were ready on time. Dad enjoyed it so much. Thank you for the great service and awesome clam chowder. We'll be back

I ordered the seafood platter with a side of lobster and it was extremely delicious. Everything was hand battered and fried perfectly. The homemade sauces and coleslaw salad were bursting with flavor.
The gem of this place has to be their buttered sauce that comes with the lobster. It was hands down the best, blow up flavor, sauce I've ever had. You could basically drink the stuff and it paired perfectly with the lobster.
Also the staff were beyond polite, professional, and down to earth. They started to get a bit busy and the chef came out from the back to help serve with a big smile. I was impressed with how well they worked together during a very busy time in the restaurant. I couldn't be happier!
I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back when in the area. Thanks Muskoka Surf and Turf!!

I had a deeply concerning experience at Muskoka Surf and Turf. I ordered a chicken burger, only to find mold on the bun. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they apologized, which I appreciate, but their response was inadequate—they just asked if I wanted something else instead of addressing the issue properly or offering a meaningful solution. After feeling sick from the experience, the last thing I wanted was more food from the restaurant. To make matters worse, I could hear someone in the kitchen coughing uncontrollably, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and sanitation practices. I won’t be returning and strongly caution others to avoid this place until they improve their standards.
