You can't get much more local than this cafe, it's family run with the mother of the owner cooking in the back, including the most delicious homemade cabbage rolls I've ever had. A new standard's been set on what I expect when ordering them, and I look forward to trying the perogies the next time I visit. The owner came off as a bit blunt, borderline rude, when serving 'tourist' customers like myself, but she was very friendly towards the locals who came in for a coffee or bite to eat. Overall, the food here is worth it, and who knows, maybe if I come back often enough I'll get the friends and family treatment as well!

This is a lovely family-run business managed by two sweet old ladies and a young woman. The indoor space feels warm and welcoming, and they also have outdoor tables with a beautiful lake view. The food quality was perfecto — highly recommended! I loved it — felt great and truly enjoyed my food. Please come here for brunch — they close after 1 PM! The only small concern was that the young owner seemed a bit frowning.

We went in the morning for breakfast and it wasn’t busy at all. The server came out and I old us food would be at least an hour. She was very unpleasant ans really didnt seem to want our business.

My husband mentioned that the coffee was terrific.
They offered me my choice of a free dessert because it was my Birthday.
