I was here after going to the municipal office,I picked up a hotdog/large fry to go and the food was amazing since it was my first time here.My Fiancée comes here for the Moose Tracks and I might do the same when we go out together again Overall,Great Food!

Poutine was mid. Good amount of food for the price, but the quality wasn’t there. Fries should’ve been salted, gravy and cheese were okay, pulled pork looked like it was from a can (do they even have canned pulled pork?). The veal sandwich was good though! I’d be willing to try again some time if they made some changes

Love the quaint little Kawartha icecream place. They have other food too.

They're literally never open when we go even though we go during their business hours and checked their Facebook for hour updates prior to going. We drove well over half an hour for their fire chicken poutine which is delicious... very disappointed.
Got chinese instead.

Tastebuds Ice Cream Shop is a delightful find! The ice cream is absolutely delicious, and the serving sizes are generous. With a wide selection of flavors, there’s something for everyone. This has quickly become our new favorite ice cream spot, and we can’t wait to return!

Kid-friendliness: They have smaller severing available for kids or lite eaters.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've visited this ice-cream shop more times than I should... I've even made excuses why ice-cream is a good breakfast choice. Ugh.

Tastebuds came highly rated to me, and now I know why. They serve Kawartha Dairy ice cream, frozen yogurts, milk shakes (if you've ever wondered if it's possible to suck pralines and cream up a straw, I'm here to tell you it's possible!) and other menu items (truthfully, I've been so distracted by the assortment of ice cream that I haven't really paid attention to the menu board).

If you're anything like me and want to "prove" that you can eat a double scoop in a Waffle cone, then I applaud you. I was warned beforehand that the helpings are large, and they weren't kidding! (it's only $1 extra for each scoop, I say you go for it!)

Enjoy, and for the record ice cream is a dairy product and so is milk. I use milk on my breakfast cereal, so eating ice-cream is kinda like eating breakfast.

Disclaimer: Only had the ice creams. Most of the flavours were alright, but a handful of them were delectable. They are too generous on the ice cream amount- almost double on your order. I couldn’t finish or even get to the waffle cone, and I always finish my desserts. Normally that would be a good thing but they were very stingy on the samples. No more than one sample person. And the sample they handed out was more than enough. Maybe I’m the one being stingy but the overall logic didn’t make sense to me. I had to ask my buddies to try out samples just for me to taste them. People working behind the counter were nice enough but it didn’t feel like they wanted the service. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. I was really looking forward to trying this place out as I heard about it by word of mouth. I would give it another shot and the only reason would be to try out the flavors I couldn’t get to, but otherwise, it was rather disappointing.

Like seriously only one sample per person but they give too much ice cream with a single scoop - i guess thanks for giving me more than I needed but very unnecessary (dont want to waste any ice cream because we had to shave off some to get to the cone) Otherwise, place is clean and nice but the staff was not as accommodating.
