We had a delicious dinner at The Oar. My spouse had the Oar Burger and raved about it. I really enjoyed the seasonal salad and a cocktail.
I was sorely disappointed that our bus trip for seniors was served inedible vegetables. The carrot and parsnip served were rough chopped and barely cooked. The Oar had our orders weeks in advance I am a younger senior and love my veggies al dente, but they could barely be pierced by a fork! The even older generation like my mom prefer everything well done. The salad was delicious and several at my table thought it too large and opted to leave half to save room for the meal....read full review
