“Came in here early afternoon on a monday got a couple of pints and their great Canadian poutine. The poutine is great for pricing and it tasted wonderful, salty but not too salty (if u dont like salt it will be too salty salt lover here and it's borderline too salty), they did the classic gravy on cheese to try and melt it which most curds were melted idc if its melted or not the thought counts. Fries were crispy, noticed a decent amount of bacon chunks. Servers were very friendly! Will return.“
“Daniella is always amazing to deal with… always pleasant, great service, my kids love her … and so do my wife and I. Food is usually top notch. “The Filet was actually really good. Cooked properly, juiced, and seasoned well. Very hard to find a place that can cook a steak right.Service was friendly, hard to hear but overall great. Got the chocolate lava cake for the first time. Was decent but just personal opinion.Overall great food and service. Would come back for sure.“

“Whoa! What is this place? It's difficult to write a review because it's difficult to wrap my head around what I just experienced. This is a place unlike any other.First off, it's a bar and a bar only. If you want food there will be none. They have drinks, but there is no menu and really no alcohol on display, so you're playing a guessing game about what they do and do not have. Asked for an old fashioned (a drink with like 3 ingredients) and was told "we don't make those here." OK little odd. Asked for a whiskey and they at least had that. They seem to have a lot of craft beer but again you don't know until you ask. I feel like they could probably streamline the ordering process a bit better, as it's nice to know what's available when asking for a drink.That said, the service was actually pretty good. The server was very attentive and seemed pleasant. Drinks come out fast.The interior is where it gets interesting. The best way to describe it would be "your elderly uncle's 1970s-style basement rec room." Everything's unfinished wood. It doesn't really feel like a bar at all. There are a bunch of board games that patrons can play, and I'm pretty sure a random dog walked under the table at some point.Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars for sheer uniqueness. This kind of place isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, and TBH I'm not even sure it's MY cup of tea, but I highly recommend checking it out just so you can say you did. “My wife and I dined at this establishment on January 29th, 2024. My wife had the Thai chicken/shrimp fettuccine while I had a Smashed Black n’ Blue Burger. They were both fantastic (not that we shared). I’m happy I ordered salad with my burger cuz this burger was MASSIVE and there’s no way I coulda finished the fries. Server got my wife a surprise frozen drink and they even knew how to make me a nice Tom Collins for me. A little pricey but can’t complain cuz the food was great! Service great! “Hosted a 40th birthday party at The Daventry. We were able to rent the back half/bar area of the restaurant which was perfect for our group of around 50 people. Carly and Eric were amazing to work with and made planning very easy. All the bartenders were so fast and friendly throughout the evening. Everyone had a great time and guests enjoyed the food as well. The live band they had already booked was a perfect addition to the party and we would definitely book again in the future. “Nice little taproom / bar with a good selections of cans to choose from. Im.assuming you have to oay for a corkage when you buy a can which does add to the cost off you drink.But still a nice cosy atmosphere to sit in and a have a nice drink ?“
