A friend recommended 270 to me and I had a lovely experience today. The sandwich was tasty. The bread had a lovely flavour and the quality of the prosciutto was fantastic. When I walked in all I could smell was something delicious baking. I can't wait to go back.
P.S. loved to see the efforts of the team to fundraise for the kiddos in the cancer ward. Such generous souls ❤️

This is not the shop it once was. Sad to see the difference after ownership changed hands. New owners are just not as committed to the sandwich shop vibe as the previous owner was. Used to order regularly, now very rarely order as it's just not the same.

LOVE this deli. Excellent bread, good meats, interesting flavour combinations. Have been here many times and always a success. I wish there were more melted sandwich choices, as that’s my preference, but their sandwiches are 10:10. A more central location with better parking and a small dining area would be my suggestions.
Vegetarian options: Several options although I didn’t note any vegan options.
Parking: It’s a busy plaza. Coming during the week can be hectic.
Found this gem across the street from Shalom Manor today. Great sandwiches and salads!

I've been buying bread and sandwiches here for years. The last 3 times the loaf of sourdough has been dense, dry and smaller, like stale bread. The sandwiches are also smaller and not as good as they used to be yet the prices have increased. Unfortunately, after 3 strikes I won't go back.

Found them with a Food Truck at Ball's Falls Thanksgiving Festival. Food was absolutely fantastic. Prime rib sandwich with horseradish aioli and arugula, chicken parm sandwich and Truffle mac n cheese with red sauce. Highly recommend and will visit sandwich shoppe to try other items.
I just wanted to give this place a shout out. I was in earlier to pickup my pre-ordered lunch. They were a little bit behind on my ordered, but totally made up for it. They kindly apologized & also gave me a small treat bag of desserts. Nice to see great customer service!

Stopped in here just by chance and glad I did. Was early in the morning and decided to try a breakfast sandwich, it was well prepared and tastes good, not like a typical greasy thing you would get from a major chain.
Pretty basic when you walk in but my guess is because they focus on the quality of the food and service instead of flashy signs and marketing. Menu looked like it had some good options for lunch as well and reasonable prices.

This was my fav sandwich shop when I lived in Grimsby and since moving away 3 years ago I have missed it so much. Decided to go on a road trip today to visit and learned there’s a new owner. Ordered our sandwiches and to no surprise it was quick and great customer service. went to go get back in the car and realized I locked my keys in the car, must have been too excited to get these sandwiches I’ve been missing so much. Kyle the owner without hesitation jumped on board to try to help us get in the car, and after trying everything and having no luck, Remi used his membership to call CAA for us. I have never felt so taken care of! And the sandwiches were to die for, and just as I remember them. Thank you so much!
