This is my husband and my third time at Peninsula Ridge for the surf and turf dinner. Each time the lobster was done to perfection, not rubbery or chewy, and the steaks came out as requested mine medium rare, and my husband‘s medium. Everything was excellent as far as food preparation and taste and service. The only negative was the payment, where their card machine did not allow the purchaser to put in their own $$ or % for the tip. The machine asked for the 15, 18 or 20% tip on the whole cost, whereas I only give the tip on the value of the meal, without the HST, being calculated into the final price. I know it's a small issue, but the HST is not part of the meal's cost.

Walking into the space was a total experience. Rich, rustic decor that makes you think something special is going to happen. The wines were all really good (the Cab was amazing). We got a really exceptional charcuterie board to pair with the wines. Helpful advice on the wines and the area from the person behind the bar. We enjoyed our tasting in an upstairs loft overlooking the vineyard. AWESOME!
