Walking into the space was a total experience. Rich, rustic decor that makes you think something special is going to happen. The wines were all really good (the Cab was amazing). We got a really exceptional charcuterie board to pair with the wines. Helpful advice on the wines and the area from the person behind the bar. We enjoyed our tasting in an upstairs loft overlooking the vineyard. AWESOME!

This is my husband and my third time at Peninsula Ridge for the surf and turf dinner. Each time the lobster was done to perfection, not rubbery or chewy, and the steaks came out as requested mine medium rare, and my husband‘s medium. Served on top of the smoothest mashed potatoes ever. The selections of the desserts were also very good And their Caesar salad Was very good. The flavour of crème brûlée the evening we went was chocolate I ordered it and I didn’t find it to my liking and was offered another free dessert in place of it. I declined as pI was too full to eat anymore. We highly recommend eating at this lovely Restaurant Set an an old farm style home. You can’t go wrong here the service was excellent the chef excellent, and the decor was homie.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the back that leads to a side door.

Everything was excellent as far as food preparation and taste and service. The only negative was the payment, where their card machine did not allow the purchaser to put in their own $$ or % for the tip. The machine asked for the 15, 18 or 20% tip on the whole cost, whereas I only give the tip on the value of the meal, without the HST, being calculated into the final price. I know it's a small issue, but the HST is not part of the meal's cost.

Lovely experience the setting was comfortable without being too loud. Ordered the surf and Turf , flavor was good but a bit on the salt side. Likely to return. To try out menu choices

We attended the Surf and Turf event in November and were really happy with the overall quality of the food so decided to go back this February. This time the steak was disappointing - very chewy and past medium rare, probably closer to medium well. Otherwise the lobster tail , mashed potatoes and veggies were very good.

If not for a couple of glitches I would have given 5 stars across the board. First glitch - they had no record of our reservation in the database despite their call to us the night before to ask whether we had mobility issues. No problem though. After I showed our Open Table reservation on my phone we were seated. Second glitch - I ordered my steak blue and it arrived medium well. Quickly resolved after the hostess overheard me complain to my wife. A second steak was brought out post haste and this time cooked perfectly blue. Everything else from cocktails to wine to cappuccino to service was on point and the setting in a heritage building with our table at the second-floor balcony door with view toward the lake was fabulous. We are certainly looking forward to many return visits.

Excellent service - Stephanie was very nice and efficient. Food was good - we had surf and turf - would have liked the striploin to have been a bit thicker. Other than that very good. Perhaps the lighting was a bit too dark. We will definitely be returning.

The food was great. Service was decent. Getting in the restaurant was a but challenging when we had a stroller since there were stairs.

Great ambience and value for the price. No corkage license for outside wines but excellent selection of property wines available. Lamb was superb as were the mashed potatoes. Great selection of tasty deserts

Our second time for the steak and lobster night but this time our steak was tough. It was melt in your mouth last time. However , it was cooked exactly the way I asked. The lobster was fantastic as were the yummy mashed potatoes. Excellent service by Michelle

Peninsula Ridge Winery restaurant always offers a great selection of courses, all appetizingly presented. The wine menu is a perfect pairing for these culinary delights. Service is always with a smile, professional and efficient. Definitely can recommend this restaurant.

We were there for the surf and turf special at $39.95. Basically you get what you pay for - it was ok. I've had much better dining experiences at Peninsula Ridge and will take a pass on this special in the future. Service was great as always. Main floor dining room could use a little refresh, especially the chairs.
