I received the worst poutine ever last night. The cheese curds were cold, the fries were cold, and the gravy was lukewarm. I couldn't eat it. Never going back.

Will not be returning to the Guelph Woodlawn location. With the current prices, may not go back to an A&W for a while. 3 mozza and 1 beyond combo cost $64. It looks like the burger patties are getting smaller. We joked about shrinkflation and how much everything had cost. The beyond burger had so much mayo it was inedible. Even worse, we found a long hair in it. My wife went to the counter to ask for a new one but there was no one at the counter. She saw 2 workers in the back and had to yell a couple of times to get their attention (we were the only ones in the restaurant (on a Friday night)). Someone finally came to the counter, listened to my wife, raised his hand and walked away. We weren't sure if he was having another one made (we couldn't understand what he was saying). After a few minutes, he called over and gave us a new beyond burger. Part of the restaurant had a sewer smell ... it was just not pleasant.

Bought a fruit smoothie and it wasn't filled all the way. When I asked the worker about it she said "it was just the machine" and wouldn't fill it up the rest of the way.

Pulled up to the drive-through around 5:30 today (Saturday), no other cars there, but a few people eating inside. It appeared that only one person was working both the window and the counter alone. She clearly could not keep up, and the car that pulled in behind us got frustrated and drove around us to exit without completing their order.
Took almost fifteen minutes to get our food. They forgot one of the beverages, and we had to go back through to collect it, waiting an additional 8 minutes. Fries were all cold and clearly not fresh, and everything was stuffed into the bag with little consideration.
I asked for a teen burger for my (admittedly picky) kid to have nothing but ketchup on it. It still had cheese and all condiments on it.
I asked for a beyond meat burger with no onions on it. Still had onions on it.
The third order was requested to be an unseeded bun, as my daughter’s friend has an allergy. That was done correctly, however the burger could only be described as “slapped together.”
Three combos came to $51 and change.
This is very frustrating, as this is not the first poor experience with this particular restaurant. There needs to be some re-training or perhaps increased staffing for sure.

Just ordered 2 sandwiches (5 minutes ago) the chicken and cheddar add an egg. First of all I've seen bigger chicken nuggets. This chicken pattie is not much bigger then a toonie. Secondly the chicken was cold. Not cool ..cold to the touch! Do better then this !!

I was in the drive thru waiting to place an order for well over 5 minutes there were two cars ahead of me and when I got to the mic after waiting for the two cars ahead of me to place their orders I was told that they were closed and would not take my order. The grills were turned off but they just took the order ahead of me seconds before. I was in line before they turned lights off. The manager was rude and kept saying that the grills were off. I find that hard to believe when they just took two orders.
It's absolutely unacceptable what the owner did to his or her employees on Halloween. There is a free kidsmeal deal and there is only 2 people in the store when we ate there. People were in line for 40 minutes things were getting missed because of how understaffed they were. Terrible management decision.

The hot dogs I ordered during summer were 4.99 with just meat mustard and ketchup. I ordered one just now, 6.99 and bacon on it. Cannot understand the guy on speaker. And I complained about the price when ordering and told him why is it 6.99 for a hotdogs with ketchup mustard and bread? I got to the wndow and it was $7.90 , I had to wait for my food , got parked like always at this location. And order came out, no receipt and wrong hot dog. Not sure why this location is still in operation. It's not fast food here. It's wait for your food and pay out the ass for it. Food is never ready here. Sucks when you only got a 25 min lunch. And the reply I got states that the hotdogs are still 4.99. We'll looks like they never read this review properly. Because if you, responder, know the price and I knew the price, why the hell don't the csr know that? Even after I asked him and told him the price was 4.99. He had no clue what I was talking about. He kept saying whistle dog. When he could have mentioned the 4.99. But obviously he is clueless. A&W Has gone to crap at this location. Responder talks all high and mighty instead of apologizing and taking action to correct situation. A&W I will demote from now on. Thank you to.the responder. Hope corporate a&w sees this!
