Pretty good overall, but was not impressed enough to go back for the price. The bean soup to start was quite nice. The salad second was pretty good (greens with walnuts, cheese, pickled beets, and a vinaigrette), but found the flavors to be quite imbalanced on the bitter side. Ordered the steak and was expecting a proper steak, but it seems as though the steak was ground and repressed into a dense patty. It was quite tender and had good flavor, but wasn't particularly a fan of the texture (particularly when expecting an actual steak). The crisp potatoes on the side were delicate and contrasted the steak pretty well. Perhaps a day with a different prix fixe menu would be better. The ambiance was really nice in the back patio, and the service was good.

Excellent Food! We liked the fixed menu as you get to try different things. I had the rabbit for entry and it was really good. My husband had the pickerel and it was cooked perfect!

I can’t say enough about the customer service for the Valentine’s dinner we ordered online. Due to a system error, our order was placed and accepted after the restaurant’s cut-off time. No worries - while the chef could have just refunded our money, he was determined not to leave us hungry and asked us to allow him to make it right by not only making the dinner we had ordered, but delivering it to our home - truly extraordinary service! And, the food was absolutely delicious (paired with a complimentary bottle of wine!). Thank you to the team at Artisanale for providing us with a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner!!

We had a wonderful evening. The servers were friendly and charming, and the food was delicious. The courses were wonderfully spaced out - not too fast, giving us time to linger over each dish, but not so slow that we felt we were waiting for food. It was lovely to go to a restaurant and not be burdened with a massive menu - to be able to sit and just eat, and to eat the same things as everyone else at our table, made for a warm and happy family experience.

We had been to Artisanale for brunch before and had a great experience, but finally got to go there for dinner last night - it did not disappoint! We got the chicken liver mousse to start, which was different but the flavours were super fresh and delicious. We both got burgers for our mains and the patties were super juicy and flavourful. We finished the meal off with the peach pie and the creme caramel, which were honestly some of the best desserts I’ve ever had. On top of that our server was great! Attentive but not too chatty, which was perfect for our date night.

Perfect evening and lovely tapas menu! This is a very special restaurant. Check out the menu online before reserving! It's a bit like visiting a friend's home - you get served what they have lovingly prepared. Great place for "date night" or special event. The patio is lovely and spacious. The chef rotates the menu regularly to feature different dishes from different parts of France and the Mediterranean region. There is only a small team, so be a bit patient with the service and you will be rewarded. Here's hoping that they can expand their opening times (right now only Friday/Saturday dinners) as we slowly get back to "the new normal".
