We stopped into Baker Street Station while visiting Guelph for the night, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. From the outside, the place looks quiet — almost unassuming — but once we walked in, we discovered two lively floors filled with families, couples, friends catching up, and people out on dates. A really great energy.
The staff were absolutely lovely from the moment we arrived. The young man at the door noticed we had a newborn in a car seat and literally bolted upstairs to scout out the best place for us to sit. He wanted to make sure we’d be comfortable before bringing us up — such a thoughtful touch.
Our server was just as wonderful. Despite the pub being busy, it never felt oppressively loud or chaotic. The atmosphere struck that perfect balance: lively, warm, and easy to enjoy.
The food was exactly what you want from a pub — well done, comforting, and satisfying. Overall, this is a great little pub that’s clearly well run, with staff who genuinely care about guests having a good experience.
Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Guelph.

Me and my family with 2 kids loved the food here. This was our first visit and the food and service were awesome. We ordered Duck Mafalte Pasta, Fish and Chips and Oysters. The cocktail Black and White was good too. Will visit again to try other menu items. Bakery street had ongoing construction hence had to do street parking beside Wolly Pub.

This is an iconic Guelph restaurant, one of my favourite in the city. Amazing staff, cool little British pub atmosphere, a very diverse menu and everything I’ve tried has always been good. Great list of beers.

I never did try the food here though my assistant at the time was quite fond and I myself found the atmosphere adequate for mental stimulation.
Bakery Street Station was suitable for many meetings with clients within Guelph while being among the people.
I shall make use of it on my returns.

The staff and food were great.
I Asked if I could get the creamed leeks on the bangers and mash, and they said they couldn’t do that because they were pre portioned for another dish. However, when the dish came out, I was pleasantly surprised that they had added sautéed leeks to it! The fried chicken was also delicious.
I went here on a date and it was just the two of us in a mostly open restaurant. We ordered appetizers and mains at the same time and the appetizers came out after 40 minutes (beef tar tar). Our mains never came and after 2 hours after ordering we left hungry and with no food. Thankfully they didn’t charge us for what they never served although that’s kind of the bare minimum. It’s a shame because I heard a lot of good things about the food here

It’s good location, their menu prices are more expensive than most places but they have interesting menu options.
I’ve gone on deal night, their wings are mediocre at best, the fried chicken is done well for $2/pc deal. The burger and fries above par but also cost more than most places. They do their meat dishes quite well.
They offer standard pub grub with some elevated dishes. Menu can change seasonally.
The food has definitely improved last couple years.
But I do find their food inconsistent at times. Some days it’s bad , I had oysters once and they are not very fresh and shucked poorly.
But when it’s good, like their dinner items, it does hit the spot. Could be depends who’s behind the kitchen on certain nights.
The atmosphere has a nice dim lit pub feel but can feel a bit greasy because the kitchen is close by right with poor ventilation. For the most part it’s not too bad.
The place is usually busy and is a known Guelph spot.
Their service is good and friendly but can be slow when busy. They have a good beer selection.
Overall, considering everything , price ,food and atmosphere, I would go back occasionally and and be in rotation of the very few spots in Guelph that has decent food.

Elevated bar fair, with frequent menu changes. One of my favourite places to eat in Guelph. Also has a great local beer selection and seasonal cocktails.

Generally good experience. Sat on patio outside on the front porch in the shade on a beautiful fall day that felt like summer. Had great wings and drinks for 5. Liked the outside better. Still fine inside though.

I'm incredibly upset and disappointed with my service last night. I told my waiter my allergy issues and double checked my food prior to ordering. I ended up incredibly sick due to an allergic reaction to what I ate. I've never had this blatant a problem, and I will not be returning.

Great food, great service.
Had not been here for quite while... We do not live in Guelph and attended to celebrate a birthday!
The space is a funky pub style spot which has not changed since I was here six years ago. I like it...
A vast selection of beers. Like crazy vast..... At first blush, the prices of the food seems a bit steep. But, that was erased when I experienced the size and quality of the food order. One kids grilled cheese and a fish and chips. That food came fast to keep the little ones happy!
All of the remaining food came out all at once. Steak sandwich for me, fish and chips, Salman wellington, Fisherman Pie and Paneer! All were very good! You know the usual steak sandwich is a bunch of chopped up piece, not this one. A real steak cooked to medium rare and some garlic aeoli (I think) salad and the fries are so good... Anyway, it's not a cheap pub meal. It is a fabulous artisan pub meal! Very good! Oh, and the pretzels and dill pickle spears were really good as well...
