Ordered Chinese Bhel from Blue Chopstix through Uber Eats last Saturday. Unfortunately, I found 2 long hairs in the food after taking the first bite. Very disappointed with the hygiene standards.

The food quality and hygiene of the place has deteriorated over the past few years. A few months ago I found a piece of plastic in the food and the server wasn’t even surprised by it (might happen more often than I think). Thought of giving the place another go and visited last night, and there was a piece of hair in the food. I wouldn’t be ordering or visiting again.

Ordered wonton soup, fried rice,honey garlic chicken, orange chicken, and chicken fried dumplings. The chicken fried dumplings have indian spices which was not said and I did not enjoy them at all. My honey garlic chicken came with a small bowl of rice when I took the rice out of the bowl onto the plate half the rice was not cooked at all completely raw, so I sent it back the server then brought me a second rice bowl which was overcooked and disgusting. My honey garlic chicken was also very poor quality and was very hard. The rest of the food was alright. Once we were all done we tried to get to go containers and no one was in the restaurant at all, we walked through the kitchen trying to find someone but no one was there, we yelled for someone and no one answered. To add to it as well the kitchen was disgusting and the bathroom had fecal matter where it shouldnt be I didnt even touch the lights with my bare hands I used a paper towel. After a few minutes of us waiting after yelling someone came and we got to-go containers paid and left.

I visited Blue Chostix this afternoon for lunch and I had an amazing experience. Thai red curry with fried rice is top notch and chicken lollipops are delicious.

Can't say enough about this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience inside when I came in person after ordering online several times and being so content with the generous portion size and also the flavor that quite literally flooded my taste buds, hungry for more. That, too, with a fraction of the price at other places downtown. The lunch special should not be missed, since it's a bang for the buck. I have never seen this much quantity of food for this price. My girlfriend and I have been regulars for years now and we will never miss this place if we're ever passing through.
