I came to get the weekday 11-5 specials (meal plus drink). Came in and sat down at a table at around 4:00. Waited 10 minutes, nothing. No menu (in the past when I have come it was almost instant if not within a minute so I found it odd). A group of guys who had sat down after me was being served drinks, but I had yet to even see a server pass by my table (section I was in had other tables who were about halfway through a meal so it was not closed). Waited another five minutes then moved to the section with the guys who had drinks (bar seats). Another five minutes and the server for that section came by and asked if I’d been served. Explained the situation (I’d been waiting at one of the tables with no sign of anyone so moved to where I had seen people get served figuring it might increase my chances of getting seen). She was very apologetic (even though it wasn’t her fault) and the food was good as always (got the gryphon grand slam), but still feel conflicted about the situation. It wasn’t a notably busy time compared to other times when I’ve been and service has always been on point. Every other time I’ve come I’ve never had any issues with service (hence why the review is four stars rather than three) but I guess if you’re coming just be aware that wait times can really extend based on what server is in charge of your section. Would still come again though.

I had a great experience thanks to our waitress Adrianna, she was kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgable about the menu. She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down, and treated us like regulars even though it was our first time there. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. Because of her, we'll definitely be coming back!
Alex might just be the best thing since sliced bread. There aren’t enough words to describe how much Alex means to me. I love him like a second son and I have two sons. The competition is very close. I hope he reads this and know that he is welcome home anytime soon. He hasn’t been home since last winter and winter is coming. His pet tarantula misses him. It ate the cat because Alex stopped feeding him but I digress. Alex is a fantastic server i just wish he was a better server at home when he was at home. Thank you Alex. I appreciate you.

Alex is the greatest server I’ve ever come across in my 22 wonderful years of life. He brightened up my day, year, even decade by being the greatest server I’ve ever had. I think I speak for everyone when I say we love Alex.
Usually they gave me the anniversary burger with a very nice piece of cheese. BUT nowadays they CHANGED... They only give a piece of cheese that is 1mm thick... It used to be 1 inch thick... What happened? I paid extra for this and you can't even taste the cheese. ON TOP of that the side order of soup was the tiniest bowl I seen... Only 1 meatball in the soup and it's not even 1 it was cut in half...
Please go back to the amazing anniversary burger you used to serve. The new one is atrocious.... Worse experience I have had since coming to Guelph.

Speaking from experience of eating here for almost 8 weeks straight, the food and the servers are amazing! Every time I come in the staff are so kind and are great at figuring our creative solutions/substitutes when stuff runs out, which sometimes are tastier than the origional. I would highly reccomend the grilled cheese or their crosstrax poutine, as I would dare say its the best on campus. They also have good options for those on a budget, especially the drinks!
