As good as anything I've had in Jamaica. This isn't your supermarket frozen Patty. Fresh, flaky, fat and delicious. Obviously homemade!
Vintage menu excellent food!
Owner / worker there is very rude.I called to ask if they sell gluten free patties …she responded very disrespectfully and hung up the phone in my ears.
Patty was delectable, wonderful, scrumptious, succulently plump, and delightful.
I’ve been living in Toronto for more than 16 years and this is honestly the tastiest beef patty I’ve ever had.
I know I’ve gone past this place hundreds or thousands of times, but never gone in. This is totally gonna be a weekly ritual for me now.
The place was really cool and the chicken patty looked promising but I found a piece of plastic wrapper inside the patty and it was very dry
Nicest owner ever!
The best chicken patty I’ve had. This place is slept on big time!
She’s legit. She runs the show. Her patties are the best. She is the queen. Go in and you’ll see.

I asked for vegetarian roti and she said she’d have to make that from scratch. Imagine that! A food business having to make something from scratch! How outlandish. I said, Okay, so make it from scratch. I came back for the roti 20 or so minutes later. It seemed like the vegetables were in a meat sauce. The owner Georgia doesn’t like most things, and especially doesn’t like vegetarians. She also doesn’t like answering questions. If you have no questions you might have a fine experience, but don’t expect her to be nice, because nice is certainly not her style.

Amazing patties, best I’ve ever had including the ones I had in Jamaica. The beef patty is stuffed with filling and 2-3X thickness of most patties Ive had. The filling is bursting with flavour, and the pastry is flaky and perfect. The chicken is amazing too, with strong but balanced flavours, perfectly cooked chicken and tons of flavour. I need to come back and try the curries.
There’s not much seating inside, this place is more focussed on takeout but there are one or two small tables. The lady that runs the place is really friendly, and there’s a real commitment to quality. Definitely coming back to try other things.

I've been eating these patties since the '90s. They're the best! Just tried the veggie for the first time and was delighted to find it was like no other veggie patty I've had before. It was stuffed with collard greens, plantain, carrots and potatoes with a nice kick to it. A new favorite but I'll always go back to the beef patty

I came because I heard they’re the best beef patty in the city and I wanted to try it just once. Things I liked: It has twice the stuffing of any other Toronto patty I’ve tried, you can taste real beef with distinct juicy beef granules not just mushy paste. Things I didn’t love: My personal preference is for spicy but seems they dont do spicy, this patty is very light any flavour besides beef. As with many patties, shell is dry to the bite. All patties are at their best when fresh and very hot, not sure how it travels but I expect over time shell may get softer but the filling dry out a little but there’s still be a lot of it. Overall: I don’t disagree that it’s the best non-spicy beef patty in the city, and if that’s your thing it’s worth a stop.
