Absolutely amazing coffee and now they have a Biscoff cookie and I’m telling you it’s delicious! The only reason I’m not gate keeping this one is I would literally buy all they have and eat them myself. Which would equal 20lbs 😬. Run to get one and a coffee!

I stopped in because I couldn't find seating at a cafe nearby and it was truly meant to be. The coffee is a 10/10, strong and crisp just how I like it. And the barista/owner(?) is suuuuper friendly. I haven't had a conversation like that with a stranger in a long time. It healed something in me. Looking forward to visiting again!

I often go stir crazy at times when I'm dog sitting. Sometimes I need to zone out at cavan during such times! I am also a talented portrait artist and appreciate the amazing artwork on display! Usually I have too much coffee and the dogs get walked very far afterwards. Now I am tired again, I guess I need to go back to cavan😅
They not only roast coffee, my soul currently feels nice and toasty as well!

A place to really try the wide range of what coffee has to offer. From a drip coffee to a premium pour-over, or a delicious espresso, there’s something for everyone. The staff are very kind and have cultivated a place of community and familiarity. With a rotating selection of beans, ephemeral in many ways, there’s an ever increasing opportunity to expand the horizons of coffee’s offerings.

Writing this review now as I long for a MiniCano, a Cortado or both. Plus, the guys who run this place are the homies for real (and super weird in the best way).
To the people of Guelph: don’t take this local gem for granted.
Vegetarian options: Veg/vegan stuff exists, all the coffee is ethically sourced too. Ask Rufus and he may know the farmers personally.
Kid-friendliness: It’s common to see little kids chilling in there on weekends. Nice little playground around the corner too (100m away).
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible from the parking lot
I want to give 4.5 but my choices are 4 or 5.. Honestly my favorite place to do my work. I've only ordered the coffee however I've seen the presentation and quality of the other options. I can genuinely say even the tea looks unique and worth the cost. The owners are cool and creative. The space is clean and comfortable. The showcase of real coffee grinding is cool.
Workspace is limited (but that's probably normal for a coffee shop I'm new to working in coffee shops). I don't like/understand the hand drying system in the bathrooms though.. (I understand the purpose I just don't understand how it's cleanly..) Still favorite place to do my work! Lots of positives ! Highly recommend (I will just have to come claim a space earlier in the morning 👍)!

Just returned from a vacation in California last week. The coffee culture there is amazing. The quality of coffee AND culture at Cavan stands up to anything I’ve had, anywhere, ever. Whenever I travel in the world, I’m looking to find the best coffee experience. I just found it only a couple hours from home. Thank you, Cavan.
