Chuck's is always what you know it is going to be. The deals will be cheap, and while the food isn't out of this world, it is enough to get the job done.

However, in a way to keep these prices low and unbeknownst to me before I received the bill, is the Honest to Goodness fee they tack onto your total. This fee is supposed to be 3% as highlighted in the menu, but for my receipt it was $2.50 for a $15.00 tab, totalling 16.67%. For my friend who just got an iced tea, it was $2.25, totalling 67% of her total bill.

This Honest to Goodness fee is a little unprincipled, but I wouldn't have minded if it was indeed just a 3% charge. But it was not 3%, and the percentage changed for each of the bills in our group. The random variation in this fee is concerning and should be addressed by management.

On a positive note, the wait staff was extremely polite and accommodating for our large group. Our drinks and food were brought out promptly and our server was kind and knowledgeable.

Just a shame about the pricing scheme.

We bought a take out of chichen and NY steak on new year eve. The food is so dry and loads of seasoning. There is no customers. The food seems like a yesterday’s left over. We will not go there any time soon again.

We came for a bite to eat and to watch a hockey game. The beer that's on special was flat so we ended up drinking their "premium" beer at much higher price.. The wings and nachos were ok, but the ribs were not good at all.. We had a good time hanging out and watching the game, but the food and beer is not worth coming back for. Service was good.. the staff was nice and friendly.

This is my fith time here and second with wife and daughter the service from the staff in the kitchen and our server Sarah always provide us with a wonderful time thank you Chuck's

Chuck’s Roadhouse features amazing prices and staff, I highly suggest you guys to come and visit.

We were frequent customers at the Woodlawn location for years and honestly speaking, the service deteriorated quickly. We stopped going for over a year because of our recent experiences and decided to try the one at Gordon and Clair. We had an amazing experience with a wonderful server (Seanna) and because of her making our most recent experience so good, we will return to be frequent customers once again...Seanna is truly an asset to your company!

Someone stated on a previous review that the fish and chips here were classic…….
I’m sorry but a fillet shaped piece of compressed fish coated in some type of hard breadcrumb obviously from a freezer is not classic.
Fries were dry, fish was dry and hard.
What happened to the authentic battered fish that was served with fries and coleslaw here in the past??
The next time I’m craving fish and chips, I’ll drive to the Riverside Fish Hut in Cambridge.

Came for dinner on a quiet Tuesday evening.
The server was friendly and very polite and attentive.
Had strawberry pecan salad for starters. Was a good size portion and delicious.
Had the filet and lobster tail with loaded baked potato as the main.
The plates it is served in is too small for the main course. They should put the potato in another dish maybe.
The lobster tail was cooked but had no seasoning or flavor to it. I asked for some hot garlic butter to help add some taste but once it’s cooked it’s cooked so the lack of season and herbs made the lobster tail very flavorless. The steak was cooked well as medium rare, however when you bite into it all you get is the seasoning, salt & peppercorn? What a shame. Because the steak was cooked well but the top had so much seasoning or salt you could not enjoy the beef.
Advised the server and she asked if there was something else on the menu. At this time I had ate most of my food and was full. I often eat at chucks across the Ontario area and it’s usually better. If not for the kind server Komal and the salad the rating would be much lower.
Nice restaurant atmosphere with plenty of TVs for hockey, basketball and World Series playing.

Good food but takes about 45min for us to be asked what our drink order will be. And about 45min in between each drink.

Good compromise for eating meat, the quality is not excellent but for the costs they offer it is more than acceptable. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and the place is quite well kept. To improve the cleanliness of the tables and the floor, sometimes you have the impression of staying glued.
