⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Crazy Carrot is such a hidden gem in Guelph! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I love that they have so many healthy choices, with great vegan and vegetarian options that don’t compromise on taste. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a quick bite. Highly recommend if you’re looking for yummy food with something for everyone!

My sister and I went to crazy carrot today for my first time. We each ordered a meal and spent approximately $40. At first, we were given the wrong amount of change for what we had paid and had to go back to the register to get the proper amount of change we needed. Our meals came out quite fast, however, after we left we realized we were missing one of the drinks we ordered and were given an item we didn’t order. We drove back to retrieve the drink we were missing and bring back the item we didn’t order. The staff was very kind and quick to help me. They gave me the drink I was missing, let me keep the extra item and even gave me an additional drink to compensate for the error. I really appreciated how they dealt with it, it was excellent customer service. However, when my sister and I finally got home and began eating our meals, I noticed a large piece of plastic inside my wrap. The food is delicious but this is definitely a choking hazard and I encourage the food staff to be a little more thorough when preparing the food. Sometimes it pays to take a few more minutes preparing food so things like that don’t get missed.

The quality of ingredients are great, and I appreciate the house made sauces etc, and the company values... but the rice:beans/other ingredients is ridiculous sometimes. The amount of rice needs to be cut in half. I keep going back, hoping it will be different, but it's not so enjoyable eating mainly plain rice. I don't know if you can ask for less rice and more of the other ingredients, but this is not advertised, at least clearly. I don't seem to be alone in this, from reading other reviews. Consider adjusting the rice ratio, as this seems to be the most common issue from the reviewers...personally I wouldn't mind paying an extra dollar or two for less rice and more beans and veg.
As an example, I just ordered from Uber Eats and I requested extra beans instead of cheese, and still only received maybe 15 beans in the burrito. I don't understand this, as rice and beans are such cheap ingredients.
Additionally, offering brown rice as base would be a nice option, for a more fiber-rich option. Quinoa would be another base to consider.
I will return...but I'll have to ask for half the amount of rice and see what happens.

I first found out about Crazy Carrot from Too Good to Go. Not being a vegetarian, I'm not sure I would've gravitated to this place but I was able to sample their array of veggies, rice, potatoes and falafel. The next time I went, I ordered a smoothie and their falafels again. While the smoothie isn't as good as a Booster Juice, they are reasonably priced and packed with lots of good ingredients. The server got my order wrong and I didn't realize until I opened the box in my car with infant in tow. I called to let them know and they were very quick to correct it without any fuss. The manager was even kind enough to allow me to drive up to the restaurant and bring it outside to my car upon request! The food is always fresh, the sauces are so tasty and the service was even better! Very much appreciated as a mom with a baby. Thank you!

We showed up 45 mins before closing. This restaurant was clean. The staff were very polite, friendly and professional. There were many choices of food. Well knowledgeable in gluten free and vegan. I was impressed!
