What a joke lol. $17 for a small piece of pretty mediocre cake is wild đ psyched to never come back here again
Iâve been here many times before. I went in after not visiting for a little while to find that they no longer have their dipped cones with assorted toppings which was slightly disappointing. I ordered a Rolo Twisted Tornado, and although it looked good, the Rolo pieces were rock-hard and stale (obviously very old), and additionally ordered a Reeseâs Pieces Milkshake for my brother, which tasted worse. The gentleman at the counter wasnât very welcoming/friendly. Disappointed as Iâve had such good experiences here prior.
This is a nice place for an after-dinner meal, or perhaps a date. I ordered the Hit D Spot, which is a plate of Belgian waffles topped with ice cream and brownies. It was very good, but pretty filling so I had to share it with my brother. It took some time to make, though that was understandable given the size of the order, which was pretty big. I would suggest bringing someone to share your food with if you want to order one of the bigger desserts.
Wow, just wow. Iâm a sugar connoisseur and Iâve never seen so many amazing options. Itâs pricey, but so good. The chai latte shake and cookie butter sundae are beyond delicious! I would highly recommend skipping dessert at a restaurant and coming here like we did!
D Spot Desserts Review
D Spot Desserts is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! Their menu is packed with delicious treats, but the funnel cake is the real showstopperâcrispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with just the right amount of sweetness.
Beyond the desserts, the ambience is fantasticâa cozy, welcoming space thatâs perfect for catching up with friends or indulging in a solo dessert break. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. A special mention to Nisarg, who was incredibly cheerful and welcoming during my last visit in November. However, I havenât seen him since, and his presence is definitely missed! Please bring him back soon
Overall, D Spot Desserts is a gem, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for high-quality desserts and a warm atmosphere.
Nice quite place to chill.
I ordered something yesterday. A waffle with strawberries, cookie dough, and sprinkles.
I instead got a crepe with strawberries and cookie dough. I don't like crepes. I don't know how the order got messed up like that. Maybe the music was too loud.
It makes me reluctant to get a custom waffle because...I might just get a crepe again.
Great selection of dessert. Satisfied the carving and very fast service. Looking forward to visit very soon .
It was the delicious shake that I have had till now. Today I got a lotus cookie butter milkshake from dspot, guelph the portion and taste was worth the money. I enjoyed the drink fullest đđ and will visit again.
I had an amazing experience at D Spot Desserts in Guelph! The desserts are absolutely deliciousâbeautifully presented and packed with flavor. I tried their cake, and it was soft, moist, and perfectly sweetened. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty treat!

Pistache - looks great, and tastes even better!
Ordered the hazle nut cheesecake, it had mold on the bottom. Only found out after I had started eating it.
I had heard so much about this place so I had been looking forward to visiting but was disappointed. The desserts were average- not very high quality ingredients and cloyingly sweet- I guess it depends on the consumerâs palette. Also both the washrooms were out of function and there was no hot coffee or cappuccinos! The guy serving us was very courteous but I definitely wonât be visiting again.
Great dessert options after dinner. Was able to ask for a taste sample before choosing my ice cream.
Their debit\credit machine kept timing out multiple times before successfully accepting payment, which was annoying.
The chairs they have are some kind of hollow metal and make really loud noises when kicked or moved around, which makes conversations difficult and you'd have to raise your voice to the person across your table.
D Spot desserts are good, and the Guelph branch although smaller than others is doing a decent job. The chocolate lava cake was warm and moist and had chocolate flowing from the center, but with the cookies and the syrup on top was a bit too sweet for my taste, though the kids enjoyed it.
My favorite so far has to be the Drake Choco and Pistachio Croffle, fresh, decedent and the right amount of sweetness for me.
One thing I found very strange was the fact that tips do not go to the staff, rather the owner takes the tips. This is a cardinal sin in my opinion and must change.
