Hands down best bakery anywhere IMO. The croissants are next level and ensure you try the chocolate or almond and chocolate croissants....crisp on outside and light and fluffy inside. 10/10!

I didn't eat there . Everything was in french which is fine but maybe some English would help also post online it's cash only . I would have stopped to get some but now probably won't go back .
This was my first time trying food from Eric the Baker and WOW – so amazingly delicious. I ordered the Croque Monsieur, sausage rolls and canele, all super delicious. My only downside is I wish the bakery allowed debit purchases. I would be here every morning if that were the case, otherwise, incredible food.

I accidentally entered the shop before it was technically open, but Eric was very kind and still set me up with a delicious pastry and coffee <33 I have been coming to this place for years and am always blown away by the quality food and amazing service!!

I recently visited Eric the Baker for the first time and had a disappointing experience. Before ordering, I made it clear that I'm a vegetarian. I'm okay with eggs in pastries, I do not eat eggs in other forms. The store was empty, yet the staff seemed to be in a hurry, which I didn't mind at first.
However, when they served me a baked slice that turned out to be basically an omelette, I was shocked. When I politely asked them to address the issue, they responded rudely, insisting that in Canada, eggs are considered vegetarian. While I understand cultural differences, their condescending attitude and lack of understanding left me feeling disrespected.
As someone new to this country, I expected a bit more kindness and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression, and I’m not likely to return.

I'm just happy this place exists. I wish pastries were healthy enough to be eaten daily.
Everything I've eaten here is delish.
The "cash only" sign could be bigger. Don't get caught out by that.

Went to Eric The Baker today. Forgot they are only cash but my bad.
My wife asked for a Ham and Cheese Croissant. The clerk said that she had to check if they had any and then came back and said we have them. When our order was ready, it was a Danish with Ham and Cheese. My wife asked and she said, that is what she thought she wanted. My wife said no that she asked for a croissant but the clerk reiterated that she thought she said Danish.
The food was good but not great when you don get what you want.
Also, a bit pricey. I understand freshly made but I still can't wrap my head around those prices but they are busy, so people are paying it.
