I’ve never been so disappointed—or honestly, so disgusted—by a restaurant in my life. Our visit to Five Guys was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The food did NOT taste fresh at all, and shortly after eating, we ended up feeling extremely sick. It was bad enough that we’re convinced the food gave us poisoning.
The fries and gravy were the worst part. The gravy looked and smelled completely off, and what I saw behind the counter shocked me. The staff did not look hygienic at all. I personally witnessed sink water being mixed near the food area, and the gravy was being heated on a tray right beside where they prepare the burgers and toppings. The whole setup looked filthy, sloppy, and completely unsafe for food handling. Absolutely no hygiene standards seemed to be followed.
I’ve eaten at many places, but this was by far the dirtiest, most unprofessional, and most disappointing experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Five Guys needs to seriously inspect this branch, clean up their act, and rethink how they handle food before someone gets seriously hurt.

Found a long black hair inside my hamburger. When I told the staff, they argued with me and acted like it wasn’t a big deal, even telling me to just eat the hot dog instead. I refused because I lost all trust. They only gave a partial refund with no explanation. Terrible hygiene, terrible attitude. Never coming back.

Sofia was amazing to us, we couldn’t decide if we wanted a strawberry or candy cane milkshake so she suggested we mix the 2 together and so she made us a strawberry candy cane milkshake!! Thank you again Sofia! You made our night:)
I have been going to this 5 guys for years it is the best. The fries are killer. The cherry coke is the best in guelph. The bacon burger is superb.

I ordered a regular fry and a Cajun fry. The fries were delicious, crispy, cooked to perfection.
This was my second time trying this time, the first time I was very disappointed as the fry portion was very skimpy. This place brags that they give you so many fries. But this time, they were true to their word, and there were lots of fries in my order.
