This is the most delayed review ever (I’m sorry!) We had our small-ish wedding reception at their Alma St location at the end of June 2025, and it was absolutely perfect! We loved this spot before we decided to host our reception here because of their awesome service, super sweet patio, and great food and drinks. Planning the event with Julia was easy and casual, which was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We decided on a family-style dinner which included a variety of wood-fired pizzas, a salad bar, and a charcouterie spread, and the food was freaking fantastic! I have some dietary restrictions, and they were so easy to accommodate. We mingled, we ate, we drank, we played games, and we danced - it was absolutely everything we wanted on the most beautiful, intimate patio! Beyond anyone’s control, the weather was perfect - warm and sunny, until literally the last few minutes when the skies opened up to the most incredible thunderstorm! Absolutely 10/10 experience with Fixed Gear for our wedding reception. We still have our guest raving to us about how awesome it was! Thank you ❤️
Really nice place to drink brew beer here!
Terrific visit to Fixed Gear. Another brewery checked off on my (endless) quest across the province. Really enjoyed Cherry Traing Wheels sour. The food menu and outdoor patio look a summer visit is also in order.

Honestly, the best place in Guelph in my opinion! Great comedy show, very inviting atmosphere! The oysters are amazing!!!
Much better than the restaurant.
Julia was a great hostess !!Beautiful atmosphere.
I would definitely come again with my puppy.
Excellent, friendly staff, nice drinks, some nice people with a lovely dog. There were also cute babies.
Watery and chemical draft beer. I do not recommend this place.
Sometimes, you really feel like a member of the staff here. 😂
The patio here is fantastic. The brewery is not necessarily located in the best spot and is somewhat awkward to park, but they've done a great job creating a cozy space that transports you a bit. There was plenty of fun / cozy seating options available as well as some games that kept our 2.5 year old busy while we enjoyed a flight on a sunny day.
Service was fast and relatively friendly, and I like that they gave us the freedom to pay after we were finished (vs. having to pay for each beer or flight up front).
This would have been 5-stars but honestly I wasn't a huge fan of any of the 4 beers we tried... which is obviously one of the key reasons you go. They weren't bad by any means -- they just tasted a bit bland compared to all of the other craft beers I've had as of late.
Great pizza
Awesome oysters
Amazing to see Jim Cuddy play there for a yearly gig!
Trivia always good n busy, arrive early
They do great job at having something going on almost every day of the week.

Great spot for a couple of pints with friends!
I had quite a pleasant experience at the Alma location. exceptional tending service from our server Julia. Very clean and organized little patio, I loved it. Both the food and drink were great and came to our table fresh and quickly. I will definitely be back, this is a top patio in Guelph for a summer night. Thank you for the memorable experience!
Gillian is an awesome sever. What a credit to this brew pub.
Super service, my beer choices and the pizza (Card in the Spokes) were so tasty.
Very nice setting, love the industrial/garage look. Patio has a great feel and set-up, just wish more of my friends had made it to out late lunch.
Nice and close to @RealPickleball for our post tournament recharge.
Great pizza and the Italian beer on tap is stellar. Great shucked oysters done extremely well. Highly recommended. Great patio as well and super comfy tall chairs in the bar.
Great vibe and good drinks!
The beer and lime seltzer were amazing!
My boyfriend got the meatball sandwich and he liked it. I got the chicken sandwich, it was okay but nothing special, needed more sauce. The sandwiches don’t come with fries. You have to pay extra. That seemed weird. It’s a really nice atmosphere and I’d be interested to try a different meal.
