It is a beautiful upgrade and food is amazing. Only concern is about noise level, difficult to speak with guests at table. Need some deflection of noise levels! Cheryl

We went to this restaurant for the 1st for my husband's birthday. I would have rated things higher but my husband's dinner was very wrong. He ordered the NY medium with steamed vegetables and potato. He got a NY that was rare, no vegetables, French fries and a cold sauce on the plate under the steak. The service was okay, our server did not come by our table very often. In fact after we received our food it was not until we were almost done and I got up to tell the manager about the food did he come to check on us. I will just say; I am the very wrong person to give mediocre service and inadequate compensation for messing up an order. I was a server and bartender for a very long time. One of the restaurants that I worked at for a very long time was Delaney's and if you are from Guelph you know not only who she is but the service and quality she enforced at her restaurant. I do not know if the server assumed we do not tip well we would not receive great service but if the is the case he assumed wrong. There have been times when I have tipped 50% for exceptional service, so for a 468.00 dinner that would have been an over 200.00 tip but instead I have the minimum 18% and I did not ever want to give that. So for future do not make assumptions and when someone orders a $50.00 steak make sure it is right and if it is not have it taken off the bill do not comp 2 shots of Grappa instead.

The staff are very accommodating. The food can be excellent, pasta, seafood etc. One diner was dissatisfied with the pork schnitzel. The dish was to come with a Stilton cheese sauce. Hardly any sauce and no flavour to the sauce. The rest of the diners were very happy with their food. Large portions on the salad. Clams could use a couple pieces of crusty bread with a spoon for a sauce. Generally a great experience.

Don’t look at the outside of the building. Just walk in and enjoy. The restaurant is spacious, elegant, comfortable. The service was spot on. Our server could not have been more charming and helpful. Five of us each had different dishes. They all arrive piping hot and on time. And they were all delicious: seafood bake, mussels with caeser salad, mushroom risotto, mushroom ravioli and an excellent burger. Can’t wait to go back.
