Golden Fish & Chips Woolwich is just simply delicious.

My family and I always order for takeout. Their food is so good and delicious, even after driving back home.

If their food is so good, even though after several minutes drive... we wanted to find out how it tastes if we dine-in.

What an excellent decision it was. It's definitely worth it to dine-in. It was so fresh and delicious... It's totally worth it.

Golden fish and chips are the best I've eaten!. many of their franchises they're gone now but the one in Guelph was just as great as the others! I'll be back!

Stopped in for Fish'n'Chips today and we were absolutely delighted by the food, the service and how quickly we were served our piping hot dinner. Atmosphere is a bit m'eh but it's more than compensated by their friendly service.
Great batter, chunky chips and their own Tartar sauce. Scrumptious and filling!
Absolutely worth a visit but dig deep for adequate funds to cover the bill. Great value for the $$$, though.
We will be back!

Walked in to the store - good initial impression. Ordered but food came a bit late - not a big issue. But not impressed at all with the food. Fries were decent, coleslaw was good I suppose but I was not impressed with the main. The batter was over-bearing and the proportion to fish was extremely off. It almost seemed as if they were serving more batter than fish. When informed to the employee, they didn’t take it well moreover insisted that they were not the chef… then perhaps don’t come asking how the food is if you can’t take accountability or want to put it on the chef.
Overall it was alright but would not come again. Do not recommend it.

One of the best fish and chips places that I have ever been to, food is beyond amazing and delicious, service was well also and the atmosphere is nice too, I come from the GTA to this place whenever I crave some fish and chips, definitely a must try and I totally recommend this place ?
