This place I gave 5 ? it's a little Gem. I ordered the battered Haddock and Chips. The fish was absolutely delicious with a thin coating of light and fluffy melt in your mouth battered and the Chips nice a thick real potato a treat indeed, I was so impressed I went two nights in a row. This place is my number one for fish and Chips and excellent service ? ?

Sorry I hate to rate so low but probably the worst fish and chips I ever had. The fries were not completely cooked, still crunchy inside. The fish batter was way too pale. Not sure if they were rushing the orders, maybe fresh oil but it was not good. Sorry, I really wanted to enjoy the meal. The lady working the front was very nice.

Our waitress was very friendly and service was great. Fish was excellent, my fries could have been cooked a little longer.
The cod was good, good batter, a nice sized piece. The fries were barely warm, under or over cooked. No cole slaw. The prices are surprisingly high. Nearly $24 for halibut.

Yesterday, my wife and I took a friend to this restaurant --one of our favourites near our residence. And all three of us immediately agreed that no other place offers such quality fish and chips in our city. This is easily the best fish and chips place for miles around. The fish was under-done. You could still taste the 'flour' like flavour of the batter. It gave DH and I severe upset stomach.The fries were also lukewarm.On the plus side, our server was nice and the establishment was clean.
