This place is such a mess. My wife's food had a hair in it and also was undercooked and when we sat down they gave us dirty plates and when we asked for clean ones they sort of rolled their eyes. Was very expensive for tacos and was not worth the price. Only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the atmosphere was cute inside but otherwise I would strongly recommend you avoid

We’ve always loved the food at La Reina and recently held our birthday party in the private room - it was a blast!
The room is the perfect place for an intimate night without feeling too cramped.
Food was incredible and service from Holly and Cass was amazing all night.
Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to host a party or event!

We had an amazing experience at La Reina! The food was outstanding — full of flavour, perfectly spicy, and truly some of the best Mexican food in Guelph. The spicy margaritas were incredible too. One ordered drink came out slightly different, but it still tasted great.
A small note: although the hostess was very kind, she seemed unsure about accommodating guests who wanted to wait for a table and very willing to lose business and turn away clients. Had we not been persistent, we might have left — as we noticed others leaving as well. We were happy to wait at the bar (even with only one chair for three people), and once we did, things went smoothly.
To our surprise, a table opened up in about 10–15 minutes as oppose to the 30 to one hour wait time as advised, and everything after that was fantastic. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. The patron margarita tower was very tasty and cool!
We’re very glad we stayed and will definitely be back!

We were extremely impressed with this place. It was our second time there and it was even better than the first. All three of us were impressed with the service (Nicole was one of the best servers I've ever had - and I'm 50! :-). She made excellent commendations, had a very outgoing , friendly while also professional personality, and she took great care of us.) The food had really great flavours with obvious homemade sauces, fresh ingredients and interesting, unique combinations, and the atmosphere is very cool/unique. Its a little on the loud side but that was part of the vibe.) Honestly, I can't say enough. I hope you go and experience it for yourself. We had the amazing nachos (not your typical), the birria tacos and corn /queso dip. Perfect combo for three to share).
