I visited this cat café with my two kids and my partner. My partner went inside with the children while I stayed out since I’m not interested in cats and didn’t want to pay admission just to sit there.
When I came back about 10 minutes later, a staff member told me my kids needed to be supervised by an adult at all times and that I couldn’t leave the premises. I was confused because an adult — my partner — had clearly gone in with them. When I explained this, she said she “didn’t know,” which was surprising since we had all arrived together.
My partner was with the kids the entire time and was even sending me photos of them with the cats, so they were clearly supervised. The interaction felt accusatory and uncomfortable, and the way we were approached came across as rude and inappropriate. As a family of mixed racial backgrounds, the situation did not sit well with us.
I understand safety rules are important, but staff should confirm the situation before making assumptions or confronting families in this way. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been a positive outing for our children.

It's a cute little place to interact with some extremely sociable kitties and have a little drink and/or snack. The cat area is quite large with separate rooms where guests can visit cats who are up for adoption through a rescue the cafe partners with.
The music is quite Zen (think SPA vibes) and the kitties have plenty of climbing, crawling and sleeping spaces to enjoy.
Leo and Maya spent the entire visit laying on or next to us while enjoying some serious cuddles.
You must book a time slot for your visit ($13/person at the time of this review) and make sure you get there early to run through the rules with the staff and order your consumables before your time slot starts as you will get 50 minutes on the dot.
We picked a 10am time slot and had the pleasure of being the only ones there to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and full kitty attention 😁 holidays like Valentine's seem to be fully booked days, according to staff.

I visited the place recently and honestly was quite surprised. The cats’ behavior didn’t feel natural at all. They weren’t sleepy, but they were unusually calm, almost as if they had been given something.
The cats were also separated in a strange way, with one or two cats in isolated rooms and limits on how many people could enter. This meant waiting every time for others to finish before going in.
There were very few cats, the place felt dark and gloomy, and the experience had no excitement. Instead of feeling relaxed and happy, my kids and I felt a bit sad.

A great place to take your kids if they love cats! Friendly employees, and they do a ton of great work to help cats find homes.

How could a place with cats rank any less than perfect? The staff were friendly and helpful. The cats? If you're a cat fan you know they take time to warm up. A quiet sit for the first bit of my time there made me wish I had gotten my tea before hand rather than on the way out. Patience was rewarded as I made several friends on the back end. For me, floor sitting was the way. That tea was delicious though, and very nicely iced (by request; it takes a few minutes to brew and get thrown over ice, but it's worth it to me).
We'll be back.

My sister and her friend tried this place and were shocked to learn that the one hour limited visit to the cat room now has an entry fee of $13.00! The friend had adopted from this place a few years ago and she could not recall it being that high then.
They could only assume that this price is used to support the feline adoption programme but the steepness of it struck them as a little exploitive. They decided to go elsewhere for their coffees as they both have cats of their own to spend the $13 on, and a kitty visit wasn't really that critical.

This was a very peaceful, relaxing experience for my mom and my son and I. We are considering adopting kittens next year and so wanted to begin the transition from dog owner to now cat owner. I was able to discern whether I have serious cat allergies and my son was able to become comfortable with cats to the point where he is asking to go back to the Kitty cafe. My mom rediscovered her love for cats.

Love this place, the cats are very well taken care of, and unlike the majority of cat cafes, are prioritized over customers, as they should be. The rooms are peaceful and the cats seem comfortable and have the option to be alone when they want.
