New York Fries Stone Road Mall

We went to this location and placed our order for two hotdogs. While the food was being prepared, I noticed right away that there was a mistake being made with the toppings on the first hotdog. I politely pointed it out to the staff member who was assembling the order. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering to fix it, they immediately turned and blamed the person who had taken the order, saying something along the lines of, “You need to listen better and read the orders back.”

They then moved on to make the second hotdog with only ketchup, placed it on the tray, and then seemed confused about what was supposed to be on each item. A moment later, they removed the first hotdog from the tray and asked, “Was one of these supposed to have tomatoes?” We confirmed that yes, one of the hotdogs was supposed to include tomatoes along with the rest of the toppings. At that point, the same staff member said something like, “That’s what I was doing the first time,” and acted like they hadn’t made a mistake at all completely ignoring what had actually happened and the fact that the toppings were never fully added.

The whole situation felt very uncomfortable. Rather than taking a moment to clarify or fix the issue with professionalism, they shifted blame to both the order-taker and indirectly to us for pointing it out. There was no apology or accountability, and it just made for a disappointing experience overall. We weren’t expecting anything over the top—just basic courtesy and accurate service.

I still have the receipt with the exact date and time of the visit. I had tried to call the location to speak with a manager shortly after, but was told there was no manager available at the time. That’s why I’m leaving this review. I don’t usually leave complaints, but the way this was handled felt unnecessary and avoidable. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve the customer service experience going forward.

I ordered a perfect combo (a hot dog, small fries and fountain drink) at 1:17PM and had a super friendly and enthusiastic cashier!! My receipt says the cashier was Christine. The rest of the staff were super friendly as well, it was some great atmosphere!
