Olive Tree Mediterranean Bistro

Writing this review as a courier for Uber so no experience with the food itself. Horrible treatment of drivers by an older gentleman who demanded to bring a delivery bag even though the business provided no such instruction in the order notes (unlike other establishments that clearly specify it).

After I brought this to his attention and suggested they update the notes for future orders and other drivers, the gentleman stormed off, muttering to himself though I had already gone back to my car to bring the bag. Later on, I discovered he had given me a negative rating on the app.

This disrespectful behavior alone is enough for me to not recommend this place to anyone that expects to be treated with basic professionalism and respect.

I've been waiting for a chance to order from this place. I ordered online and the whole ordering process went smoothly. And they took note of order changes.

Generous portions, lots of veggies in the Greek salad.

However, I ordered the falafel entree and the falafel were very dry and looked like chicken nuggets in shape, each the same as the next, making me think perhaps they are pre-made and not made at the restaurant.

Ordered the vegan chocolate cake, yes it was $10 a piece. But at that price it's got to be good! Plus it's great to have vegan options.

The cake was so dry that it crumbled like a a nature's harvest granola bar. Sadness.

Also, when arriving for pickup, catering van was parked in front of the restaurant. And all of the equipment they were unloading was sitting on the sidewalk. It was not possible under potentially slippery conditions. Leaving, it was still in the same place preventing customers from approaching the restaurant safely, or at all?.

The cook was great, but could have used more staff. Chicken souvlaki wrap was good, but prefer the veggies to be cut smaller. The dine in area needs a refresh, has minimal seating. Downside is cases of food/drink at the front door/dining area, should be in storage area.

The food was almost unbelievably good. Everything I ordered was outstanding from the salads, apps, entrees to the in house desserts. Veggies were fresh and crisp, savoury dishes were delicious and satisfying, and the homemade desserts were beyond scrumptious. It really seemed like love and passion went into preparing this amazing food, and it's easily in contention for the best take out I've ever had.

I used to love this restaurant. Thus time, I ordered pizza. The pizza crust was raw. Sent it back. It was “re-heated”. Still not cooked. Requested a pasta dish instead. It was completely tasteless. The server didn’t seem particularly concerned. Standards have definitely dropped. Over priced. Poor quality. Poor service. Give this place a miss.

I got catering done by them and I’d recommend it to everyone. Atilla was responsive and accommodating in every email correspondence!

We had a 150 guest count and their menu was comprehensive (meat/vegetarian/vegan) so our guests didn’t go without.

We had guests from Canada/Mexico/East Africa/India/Middle East/South East Asia and everyone complimented the food. Each guest pointed out different dishes they loved. From meat to potato to spanakopita to falafel to salad… in a nutshell Olive Tree outperformed our expectations.

Ordered a large cesar salad with grilled chicken. Drove 20 minutes to pick it up, when I got home there was no chicken in salad. Called to let them know and they couldn't offer a solution that didn't involve me having to drive back. Incredibly disappointing.
