I was there to buy beans and they were all sold out. Not just of the beans I was looking for but ALL the beans. I was told I could go to to a local retailer and purchase the beans because they were supplying them instead of having on site. Maybe they should change the name to “Planet NO Bean”

Long time customer here. This place has gone down hill severely over the summer of 2024. I’ve been waiting 7 days for an order of 0.75lbs of coffee bean that I ordered online. I ended up cancelling my order out of frustration and have been shopping else where. I miss walking into this shop getting a coffee and grinding my own beans.

I found that one of the older female employees was extremely unpleasant. I felt like I was in a coffee shop in Eastern Europe where the service is terrible and the employees don’t care if they make a sale or not. She really turned me off and I will never shop there again. Moreover, I will be passing my experience at the shop to everyone I know who is a coffee connoisseur.

Pretty good coffee spot in the east end, where there are not as many options available. Service was top notch and good coffee. It wasn't busy when I was there. I just wish they had a few more options for food. There were only sweet treats when I was there, so I would like to see a few savoury options for a quick bite as well. Otherwise, great spot.

It’s a great place when open. We ride the trails at Guelph Lake pretty much once a month, then go for coffee after. The Grange location is logical but it seems to be closed all the freaking time. Today, the Sunday of the long weekend, it was closed! Perhaps it’s only open on days that don’t end in ‘y’?

Great coffee shop that supports cooperatives and ethical coffee growers.
Great spot, though not a ton of seating compared to downtown location. After a few years of loyal latte and cappuccino drinking, I've decided I prefer their brewed coffee to their espresso. Totally a taste preference thing for me.

I love Planet Bean. They make the best matcha latte and always check if I want a vegan sweetener after I ask for nondairy milk. I am just lactose intolerant so I am fine with the honey but it’s nice of them to check. It’s lovely to know there is a kind business with amazing products close to home.
