The service was impeccable—every detail was handled with care, and the staff was incredibly attentive to all our needs. bland. Uninspired food for what is supposed to be a professional business. Buns not heated. Crusty stuff under what's supposed to be a clean plate. Overall disappointing.

Platters did an exceptional job with the bar service at our wedding. The bartenders were very professional and a delight to work with.

Leading up the event John helped us coordinate the service and was always available to answer our questions.

From start to finish John and his amazing team catered our daughter and son-in-laws wedding on September 28, 2024. The food, appetizers, main dinner, dessert, and all of the help were fantastic. All we heard were great compliments about the food….John even had a special plate of Chicken Fingers and Fries for the Bride. John, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for making the dinner so special, your team was amazing.

Platters catering catered my private property wedding. They were provided tables, chairs, all dinner and glassware, as well as bar service and dinner service. They were incredible. So professional, efficient and accommodating. All my guests raved about the food and service. John, the general manager, was so great to work with, and it was awesome having him present on the day of the wedding. Platters did all set up and take down, we did not have to do anything. I would highly recommend platters for any catering needs!!

Platters did my wedding 14 years ago and I was very happy with them at that time so I was very happy to be able to have them cater a cocktail party for me. I ordered an assortment of hors d'oeuvres and not only was the food delicious the presentation was amazing. I had many compliments from my guests.

I had Platters cater my farm wedding a few weeks ago and I have nothing but great things to say about them. John was very responsive and helpful through the whole process and everything turned out perfectly on our special day. We were impressed with the tasting we did in February and their attention to detail as well as their very reasonable pricing. We checked out a lot of caterers and these guys were the best. We still have people raving about how good the food was including some of our vendors who have been to their fair share of weddings. Thank you Platters Team!

Delicious. I had an outdoor dinner party for about 25 and Platters did up beef on a bun + toppings as well as a chicken pea salad. They were both delicious. The beef was so perfectly tender.

Everything was delivered on time, hot and dishes were picked up the next day.

I'd definitely recommend them.

We used platters this past weekend for our wedding they did a phenomenal job. Everyone loved the food from cocktail hour, dinner right up to our late night buffet. John was exceptional to work with from beginning to end an absolute pleasure thanks you so much!! ?

I have had the opportunity to see how Platters is run twice now and both times I have been unimpressed. The first time was at my own wedding. Everything was going well, however I had noticed guests beginning to pay for drinks after midnight, when it was previously discussed, not to mention paid for, for the open bar to be extended by one hour. When discussing this with John on my wedding night and showing him the confirmation email, he then rolled his eyes regarding the situation and walked off. Ultimately the mistake was changed, which lead me to not feel the need to write a review. Plus the food was amazing so I left it at that.

This past weekend, I attended a wedding that was catered by Platters as well and was left with even more disappointment. Despite the food being amazing at my own wedding, they actually ran out of food at this one. Guests were served “back up” food which was completely different to what they had ordered and expected. At around 9pm, the bar began closing every half hour for 20 minutes and guests were told they would not be served any alcohol as they were “too drunk”, unless they drank water. I understand cutting people off if they were belligerent, however that was simply not the case. The bar was later closed completely at 11pm, despite the couple paying for an open bar for the whole night. People began leaving the reception, ultimately ending the night early, upsetting the bride and groom.

The organization and management of Platters, from what I have experienced and dealt with myself, needs to be addressed. The people skills of this company fail to meet the expectations of customers and working with them only caused more drama than relief on an already hectic day. I do hope the management aspect is looked at and altered as the food is amazing and received nothing but high praises at my wedding.

We appreciated the support along the journey. It was so tricky choosing the food for our big day because there are no bad options, the lamb and chicken selections were a hit and 2 months later our guests are still commenting. Thank you Platters!

Was excited to use Platters based on referrals, but was tremendously disappointed that they won't be open the Sunday of our wedding. Super odd, especially for a long weekend.

Great food

John and his staff went over and above our expectations for our staff lunch today. One commented that the shaved roast beef in their Fig Peppercorn sauce was among the best roast beef they had ever had. Delivery was prompt and service was wonderful on a snowy winters day. We will definitely use them again.

We had Platters cater our wedding this past August and are so happy we did. People still talk about how great the food was! We had reception platters during the cocktail hour which were very much enjoyed. We did buffet style for dinner and had a nacho bar afterward. It was truly incredible how well organized they were and how amazing everything was. Our reception and dinner was all outdoors/in tents. We also rented tables, dishes, linens and the napkins. They delivered the items a couple days before the wedding, and came back the day before the wedding to set up the flatware and glasses. John was so amazing to work with! He was so prompt with communication, and very accommodating with changes along the way. The meeting a few weeks prior to the event was so helpful to go over any last minute needs and menu alterations. I am so thankful for everything they did and they relieved so much stress for us. I would definitely seek their services again!
