Good selection of beers to cater to a wide range of tastes, some wonderful food items (Probably the best hotdog I have ever eaten) and friendly wait staff combines with a nice patio. The bottle shop offers a 10% discount if you show your receipt from the main brewpub and they even have a dog beer!

Amazing atmosphere, very friendly staff, delicious food and one of the best craft beers around. Even though we live an hour away we try to visit at least once a month. Worth the drive.

I recently ordered through their website and was so happy with the customer service I received. There was a tiny order mixup on the address (address may have autocorrected) and Royal City went completely above and beyond to make sure the order was delivered on-time and ice-cold, which made for a very grateful recipient.

This place is great. Firstly and most importantly, they do good beers and really get the importance of a good variety with a few rogue brews to test your taste buds. Secondly the staff are great, friendly, good to suggest beers and a tally know what they are talking about. And lastly, if your hungry the food is good, duck fat fries or some very morish tacos. I'm happy this place is across the city because I'd be suppin' too much if it wasn't.

The beer is good but food is subpar. I ordered the sausage in a bun and tacos. I've eaten way better food at places like beer town or park eatery.

We’ve been waiting to visit Guelph again so that we could drop by Royal City Brewing. We already loved it from living here years ago and they somehow managed to top previous excellent experiences. We barely spoke a word after the food came out because we were immersed in our delicious meals. Always a pleasure to come here and yall managed to out-do yourselves!

We stopped in for a quick visit and were met with such friendly and fast service. Dog friendly and super quick service....we will be back !

She was extremely diligent and helpful when suggesting food choices, additional parking options, client gift ideas, etc. Thanks to Royal city brewery for good food, beer and great service!!

Definitely worth a visit when in Guelph. A good dozen or more beers on tap that change on the regular. Bright, airy space with communal tables and an interesting menu with a mix of traditional pub items and some eclectic options in there too.
