We love this place for the burgers however a bit disappointed with the French fries. I remember there was more and real potatoes, not from frozen. I guess it’s about trying to save costs. Burgers are fantastic.

Arrived at opening and found the general cleanliness of the restaurant to be in poor shape. Finger prints on most glass surfaces and floors were not swept or washed. Bathrooms could be better as well. Would have expected a higher level of cleanliness at opening. Regardless we did order and the food was both fresh and tasted great. I did worry that the kitchen may be in the same shape as the front area. Would return if housekeeping was rectified

Food is always good, but this review is about the restaurant itself. This is my 3rd or 4th visit, and the AC still isn’t working. When I asked on my first visit, staff said the AC had some issues. We went for takeout and had to wait about 10 minutes in uncomfortable heat. I feel sorry for the guys in kitchen — please fix the AC
Sweet sauce on doner, was weird. So much sauce I could swim in it. Fries were old for poutine. When you got kids running the store on a Thursday evening..yikes

I visited Sam’s Grill this evening and had a great experience. I want to especially praise the tall boy who took my order—he was very friendly, respectful, and attentive. He made sure everything was just right and delivered my food quickly with a smile. It’s always nice to see staff who care about good service. The food was also tasty and well-prepared. Highly recommend this place!
