I spend more then 60$ dollars but first time I thinking my money is waste and I my heart is soo much pain 😢 why I am not make food in my home because I thinking the food of that restaurant is too delicious but I am wrong its too much un delicious and bad smelling and its my first experience from that restaurant after I don't want buy again from any restaurant......

Googled a good place for shawarma in Guelph and this place was recommended. Ordered 2 chicken shawarmas and was impressed by the amount of ingredients you could choose from to put in it. A little sad to find out they only have lamb on fridays as my dad wanted to try it. Shawarma tasted fresh and was a great size. My personal preference, I like a garlic sauce to have a bit more flavour, but then again this is Syrian shawarma and not Lebanese like I usually eat. Baklava was delicious! The 2 guys working were so sweet and made our 10 minute wait enjoyable

My family of 4 has been going to shawarma G for years now and it continues to be one of our favourite places to eat in Guelph. I don't think we've ever been disappointed, in fact the opposite - every time we get food from here everyone is elated. The staff are very nice. I look forward to many more shawarma G dinners!

Lovely place to have stumbled into. I lived in the Kurdish region of Iraq a while back, and it's been a while since I have found a place who understands the importance of fresh and traditional ingredients. Their pomegranate sauce is to die for, the tahini and other sauces are out of this world. For me the large wrap was way too much meat, I should have opted for the smaller version, but I was just too excited. I can't wait to go back and explore some more of their other traditional plates and options. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Would highly recommend.

Ordered from Uber eats, 2 chicken shawarmas. Very thin and barely any toppings. Tasted OK but portion size was embarrassing for 15 dollars per wrap. Avoid this restaurant.

Shawarma G HAS ONE OF THE BEST Shawarma’s IN GUELPH BUT IS USALLY BUSY !!
Love this place. I’m no connoisseur as I’ve mostly only had shawarma from places that are those main chains like Osmow’s, Lazeez, and villa mandina, but this is easily the best shawarma I’ve ever had. They have amazing flavoured rice, juicy chicken and awesome sauce. I like the choice of sides and find them all very tasty. Whenever ordering delivery it comes in a reasonable time. I’ll be driving across town for this anytime I want shawarma, that’s for sure.
Edit: 4 years later and I still love this place and all the people that work here. I refuse to eat at Shelby’s as I have developed fierce loyalty for these guys. The lamb on Fridays is amazing. Shawarma G for life ✊

Tried Shawarma G recently and was disappointed. The chicken was dry and lacked flavour, which really brought the whole meal down. The food was served hot, but the overall taste just wasn’t there. With better seasoning and juicier chicken, the experience could be much improved.

This is the best shawarma for my tastes by far, probably anywhere that I've seen in the entire 519
I sincerely appreciate that they never ever shave the chicken off the spit until it's crispy. Even if there's a lineup out the door, they'll wait until it's properly cooked
Secondly, they shave the chicken extremely thinly which is the quintessential mistake 99% of places in all of Canada make. They are lazy, and never even shave it properly. This place does
Lastly, the bread is obviously really great
My big complaints are just poor customer service in the sense they don't listen to requests properly (asking for 2 pickles ends up with a handful of them. Why?) and there's zero seating

Love this place.
