Hi there, I just wanted to share a disappointing experience my daughter had at your store recently. She was so excited to get her first free birthday, but was told she didn’t qualify because she hadn’t had the app long enough. She’s a regular customer there and was really looking forward to this small birthday treat that meant so much to her. She was so upset when they denied her in front of friends that she was sad and quiet all the way home.
Interestingly, the same thing happened to her sister in the past, but the staff kindly offered the drink anyway and just reminded her to make sure the app was active ahead of time next year. That gesture made a huge difference and also learned from it at the same time.
Just thought it was worth sharing how much a small kindness (or lack of it) can impact a kid’s day. Especially on their birthday! :-(

Starbucks is a big treat yourself purchase for me, but after the last few experiences at this location, I'm not even sure if it's the location or Starbucks in general that's off lately. The drinks are made wrong, and taste off / underwhelming. And my orders keep coming out wrong. After confirming twice that I don't want whipped cream, I still ended up with it. It's no longer worth the cost to me personally, this location isn't great these days.

Went for a birthday drink a couple of days ago and was severely disappointed that apparently you have to do it through the app, which is okay, I just didn’t know. My mom was able to get hers no problem from a different location. The girl at the window was super rude about it, however. I downloaded the app and she made zero effort for accommodations about the situation, left paying 15 dollars for my drink and sandwich. As you can see, my drink has three quarters ice compared to the drink my friend got from a different location earlier (taken half an hour after, most ice melted). I ordered light ice, it was basically water. I usually love this location but they missed the mark :(

I won't be coming back to this Starbucks. When you pay almost $8 for a drink, you expect it to be filled to the top. This is a frequent occurrence here lately, and when trying to politely bring it up to one of the workers, I was told that's how the drink comes. I've been ordering this drink every day for the last two years. This is not how the drink comes, but it is how it comes here, missing 1/3 of the drink. Save your money, go somewhere else. You will be ripped off here.

This was about the worst experience I’ve had at a Starbucks. I’ve never had to request a refund for my drink that I ordered. I stood waiting for about 20 mins waiting on a drink that was made about 6 times after I initially ordered it. This felt so racially targeted, worst customer service I’ve experienced in Guelph to date.

Normally, this Starbucks is my favourite Starbucks in Guelph however, I am mobile ordered a drink and when I came into the store 15 minutes later, they still had not made my drink and it was not very busy at all when I asked if they received my Mobile order she’s trying to blame me saying I ordered from the wrong store cause it wasn’t popped in her system, even though I showed her the receipt showing that address and instead of making my drink right away, she continue to make me wait another 10 minutes
Customer service is bad. Nobody care about my order. 3 times made mistake about my ice espresso. I don't think I ever come back
