I was very excited to be dining at Sugo on Surrey for the second time on NYE. Last year was a bit more expensive at $125 pp (unfortunately, I was double charged for the intermediate meal last year as well and didn’t notice until the next day) compared to $80 pp this year, but it was absolutely delicious that I wanted to go again. The food is good BUT to be welcomed with “you’ve got 90 minutes as this table is booked” is not the beginning of a relaxing evening when a reservation was made weeks ago! If this were a one off… but this has happened three out of four times we have dined here!! It’s close to where we live but now we’re looking for a more welcoming place for our monthly dinner out.
