Very quick service, food was fresh and hot, her tableside maner was fantastic fun and energetic. She definitely made our lunch experience awesome. We will definitely be back

I ordered the roast beef dinner. I was not asked about how I would like it done. The generous portion of thinly sliced beef was definitely WELL DONE. That's ok, that's the way I like it. It was smothered in a copious amount of gravy, with horse radish on the side. It was impossible to tell how the meat tasted since the gravy, which tasted scorched to me, overpowered everything, almost including the horse radish.

To celebrate a significant event, we invited friends to join us here, expecting something safe/affordable/predictable. The kind and apologetic waiter tried to be sympathetic to how slow everything was. Nearly an hour after ordering, some of us were told that aspects of our meal were sold out. We requested and received an equivalent replacement. In addition to the unreasonable delay, portions were inconsistent and in some cases notably small. The waiter mentioned several times that he was sorry, and offered more than once that he'd send over the manager if we wanted. We finally agreed after the third offer. Again, after a delay, a manager approached the table, and basically said: "what?" We explained our concerns, he said there's nothing he could do, as it was "already done." Um what? He then offered a $25 store credit for future use. None of us were planning to be back anytime soon, so this was an underwhelming offer. As it was clear this was the end of his "negotiation" we just wanted the awkwardness to end, so agreed so he would leave. The store credit amounted to our waiter scratching our name and phone number in his order pad. (So we just ask for it if/when we return ??) I honestly don't even care, as I will not be returning. Our friends we invited to join (trying to chose somewhere we knew they'd like) were even more upset and I suspect all of us will be quick to share our experience.
