Kid-friendliness: Took our daughter and her 5 friends for her 10th birthday. Great service from our server Leah and the manager Raj set up a nice spot for all of us. Kids had a blast and food was great. Thank you very much!!

Did not receive my sides and because I dealt with Uber I’m out of luck I received 5 bucks back on a 40 dollar order and the manager was not helpful when I contacted the restaurant and then Uber eats took my 5 to cover the tip which I already paid 18% do better Uber eats and Swiss chalet customer service does not exist anymore. So disappointed.
Very disappointed in the service right from when we walked in to when we left. No one was at the front desk with several groups of people waiting to be checked in. Once seated, our waitress only took 3 out of 4 orders and huffed when we called her back so our 4th could finish their order. We were ignored the rest of the time, and no refill was offered until all meals were well past finished and only half the table was then offered drinks or dessert. We had Denise as our waitress as well as the table next to ours, who also was also ignored by this staff member.

I’ve been to this location before and it was good so when I was there this past Tuesday and it was awful, I figured it was just an off day. I refrained from leaving a review then because everyone is entitled to a bad day, but then I visited again today and it was just as bad. The service has gone down hill, big time (it was worse on Tuesday, mediocre today) and the food has as well (literally no sauce on our southern Canuck sandwiches - they were DRY). On Tuesday we were seated and weren’t greeted by our server for 15-20 minutes, and it wasn’t even busy (it was bad enough that we were about to leave when she finally did come to our table, but she didn’t even say hello or greet us, just asked us what we wanted to order). Today we were seated in the party room, in the dark (I wish I was joking, I’m not). Another 3 tables were seated in the room before we mentioned something and the lights were finally turned on.I’m not trying to nitpick here, but it’s just disappointing. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed, if it’s a problem with bad management, if people just don’t care, or an unfortunate combination of all of the above but one thing is for sure, the next time we’re wanting Swiss Chalet, we will be driving out to Milton to get it (and with these outrageous gas prices, that should be very telling to how bad our experiences were).
