The Big Fat Jerk Caribbean Restaurant

Finally got to try Big Fat Jerk today and I truly cannot say enough good things about Onike and her food.

Onike was so responsive, kind, and accommodating. She was able to help us double our pickup order and move the pickup time up on short notice, and her daughter was lovely to deal with when we picked up our food.

The food was INSANE. The jerk chicken was so flavourful and had a nice mild, warming spice. The curry goat was incredible, and I’m not even usually a fan of goat. Both meats were so tender that I literally ate them with a spoon. The rice and peas and coleslaw were AMAZING, everything had a perfect salt level and the portion sizes were massive. The price was more than reasonable for the quality and portions.

I can’t wait to keep eating here and seeing their business grow!

The food is KILLER, you need to check this place out if you haven’t!!

Beware, It says open on google but I drove all the way there and it was closed at 5PM on a tuesday.

The food at this restaurant is unique and authentic, Caribbean food. The ambiance of this restaurant is something to be desired, every time time I’m in Guelph this is a must go to establishment. ???

Over the years I have used Onike to cater for several important events. She has never disappointed. The taste of the food and the quality of her service is exceptional. My guests always comment on how good the food is. I am delighted to hear that she has opened a restaurant out in Guelph….try it once and I know you will be back again and again?.My personal favourites are the BBQ fry chicken and Jerk chicken…they are both absolutely delicious!!!
