The portions for the icecream servings are SO worth it for what you are paying. And super delicious. The staff is nice and friendly, and the actual tea room is ADORABLE! Its a cute little date spot, or a nice place to chat and catch up with your friends. The food is all delicious and adorable ontop of that! We held my friends birthday here with a large group and they were super accommodating.
This has become our yearly tradition to get ice cream from the boathouse in summer. This year was no exception! I mostly go for their blueberry cheesecake flavoured ice cream. Two scoops are too much to finish for me though 😛.
It's a very charming Victorian feel with the mismatched cups and saucers and the scones with cream and jam which is my favourite.
It has a great selection of teas, sandwiches and salads.
It has a great patio facing the Guelph river. Has kayaking in the summer too.
