I love my coffee, but sitting in the sunlight drinking my lavender latte this morning with the regulars around me. I was really impressed. This might be my favourite café experience. ❤️ The conversation with scintillating.

Laid back, quirky atmosphere and very good coffee! Their bags of beans are really good too and reasonably priced. I noticed other reviews from several years ago mentioning cash-only, but this is no longer the case. They do accept card.

Popped in for a coffee on my walk. Stood at the front with my infant daughter for 10 minutes while the ‘barista’ chatted with their 3 mates who’d all received their coffees. I thought I’d be courteous and let them wrap up their convo. Didn’t happen even though I was clearly ready to order. My daughter started fussing (she’s 5 months old) so we left. Don’t expect prompt, friendly service.

I came in and did a little work here on a Wednesday morning. This used to be a hotspot for community gatherings and used to have a section for kids to play at. Although it remains dog-friendly, the kid's section is no longer there (unfortunately for parents like me). It was very stuffy in there despite the cool outside weather, and frankly, looks like it needs a good clean-up and bit of work. Most tables are lopsided and crumbs are everywhere. The coffee (names the Common) was quite good however, and it still seems to remain a hotspot for people gathering. Seems like they have their clientele and remains a Guelph favourite but I don't think this is the place for me.

This cute place reminds me of my home. I was not aware that it was branch since the people who work here do not treat it like a major corporation.

This is a funky place to get a coffee and a snack! Good coffee made for you to order. Not the place to buzz in and out, but a good place to read the paper and have a cup of joe! Snacks are from the bakery down the street and to die for! All of it... Did I say the coffee was good??

Overall the place doesn't look tidy at all, silverware looked dirty, as well as the trays where they keep the cookies and pastries (which btw tasted like store-bought). Music was too loud for a coffee shop where you can work, and it is a bit odd.The only good thing is they had dirty chai, which was good.

Very child friendly. Which is good for people with young children; less so for the rest of us. The dude with the beard makes the best coffee I've had in Guelph. The woman (possibly the owner?) not so much.
