My husband and I went to Saffron last night and had a fabulous meal. We’re so glad we went on a recommendation from a colleague. Saffron is our new favorite spot in Guelph and we can’t wait to go back!

I moved to Guelph from Toronto. My bar for options and food quality are a bit high (it happens when you live in a city with a ton of options that are walking distance from you so nothing against Guelph). I have tried quite a few Indian restaurants here now and I can say that Saffron tops them so far. I realize pricing is at a slight premium but it’s worth it. To top it all, it’s walking distance from my home so that’s another big plus - My new goto Indian spot in Guelph. I have always taken out so can’t comment on the service or the atmosphere.

Saffron is the heart of Guelph. Their food is prepared with so much love (and flavour!) and the service is always fantastic. I used to live nearby and I loved to reward myself with their food after a long day of studying. I now live farther away and I am still loyal to their butter chicken and garlic naan! The owners are also the sweetest people. Go support their restaurant, you won't regret it!

We’re new to Guelph and went here with my wife for tea. The Indian tea was completely watered down—the worst I’ve ever had, and definitely not “Saffron” as the name suggests. The service was equally disappointing. Honestly, the couple should just shut this business altogether.

Absolutely fantastic service and mouth watering indian food. We tried multiple vegetarian dishes like paneer pakora, veg jalfrezi amongst others and all of them were fantastic. Exceptional waiters and the best service we ever had at any restaurant across Canada. Will definitely visit them wherever we travel via guelph.

The servers were very welcoming and helpful to help us decide what items to order. They explained the variety of items on the menu and mentioned that they were able to adjust the level of spice. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was flavourful fresh hot and tasty. Unfortunately our takeout order got confused with another order. I called back to tell them and they quickly responded by delivering our order to our home, and added in a complimentary dessert. We kept the original order because we had opened and plated it before realizing that it was not what we ordered. Good honest customer service from these folks. We will be back! Thank you again!
