I've been here many times to sit down to have dinner with a friend. They had a nice selection of food and beverages to choose from in their menu. The food I ordered was hot and it tasted very good. The waitresses that served our table were friendly and helpful. This place is small with tables and chairs. They do have washrooms with wheelchair accessible entrances. They have free parking at the front of the restaurant.

Overall good experience. I love greasy spoon type diners and I would classify the Village Family Restaurant as such. No frills just good service and good food.I had the breakfast combo #1 which includes 2 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 ham, 2 sausage, 2 french toast, regular toast and a healthy helping of homefries. They cooked both the sausage and bacon well done which I liked and there was enough food to bring home.Parking: The restaurant is small, with about maybe 7 tables. There's about 8 to 10 parking spots, which should be plenty to service a full diner.

This is honestly the best breakfast my family has had out in a long time. We are a traveling family and eat a lot of breakfast on the road so trust me when I say this place is worth a visit. Every part of the breakfast was excellent. The service was great and the food came quickly. We also couldn't believe the price.Kid-friendliness: They gave us a little bowl of fruit for our son even though they don't usually serve the fruit bowl during the week. It was very thoughtful.

If you visit here I hope you get Lena as your waitress. She was so kind and went above and beyond. She even brought out a bag of toys for my son to keep him entertained while we ate. Amazing service with great staff. Great portions and great prices.

The food was great the service was good but the owner was very bad upset my sister in-law where she couldn't eat the rest of dinner I think should not be a owner you don't t come out and hello at your customer about how she runs her kitchen where other customers are listing. There server that served us was great I feel sorry for her that she has to work for her she needs to find a better job than working there .ps I came from 200km to visit my sister in-law to have birthday dinner for 3 of us shame on the owner that made my night upset ps if this was a cook not the owner then the owner needs to fire her

For eat-in or take away this little restaurant is hard to beat. Outside it looks a bit cheesy and inside it is a little dated and small but the food is very good and plentiful. Service is great and cost is excellent. During the COVID lock down it was our go-to for take-out. My only concern is that some of the food dishes can be a bit greasy (oily?) at times. This will be fine for some patrons but not for others. Overall it is good food and great value.

Have driven by this place a 1000 times and decided to give it a try today. The breakfast was incredible. Had a classic 2 eggs over easy, bacon, toast, and home fries and couldn't be happier. Eggs were perfect, 4 huge slices of bacon, and probably the best homefries on the grill I have ever had. They are cooked with peppers and onions and perfectly seasoned. They also use a premium whole wheat/ whole grain bread rather then cheap 2.00 loaves like most places. We also got the kids order of pancakes to go and they were massive! All at an incredibly reasonable price and served by the nicest waitress I have had in a while. Will definitely go back and try lunch and dinner options!

I too have driven by several times and wondered what this place is all about. A very pleasant experience, food was excellent with generous portions and very fairly priced. Our server a young lady normally assigned to the kitchen looked after us very well. She was informative, helpfull and very pleasant to deal with. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

We just had a fantastic lunch here with our son and granddaughter. The food was served hot with amazing portion sizes. The service was above and beyond. We had children chicken tenders, ham and Swiss with seafood chowder soup and salad, BLT and salad and a chicken and bacon sandwich with fries. We will come back for sure.

Great Food!!We decided to try this place out while we had a couple friend's down visiting. None of us like big, busy places. So we tried our hand at going to this 'Ma and Pa' style restaurant. We were very happy with the service, the food and the atmosphere! We will definitely be visiting again. Nice and small and home feeling.

Driven by this place numerous times on my commute into the city and always wanted to check it out. Happened to be checking out a wedding spot nearby and we decided we needed some breakfast food! This place was fantastic, the home fries were cooked perfectly with awesome flavor, the eggs and bacon likewise perfect. Limited seating but great service and the food was some of the best breakfast food I've ever had! Also the Jumbo Pancake is a size of a pizza so good luck trying to finish it all!

Great mom and pop shop. Prices are fantastic,l and food is fresh and tasty. Tip: if someone at your table orders a combo with pancakes and you want some dont order your own, mooch off theirs. Pancakes are VERY intimidating, even the add on single one.
