Been here for an office party and the place has a very cozy comfy feel. Staff is very friendly and their whiskey tours are great. Definitely worth trying

Coop place to tour the distillery. Park in the bosses spot. Lots of drinks to try out, not much of a food place. Its all about the drinks!

Parking: Not many spots, maybe 10, but lots of street parking.

I had a wonderful time here. Good whisky, but even better staff! Chase was a wonderful tour guide, Skye and Jasmine were excellent bar staff! Would absolutely come just again for the excellent experience.

I had such a great time here, Skye was our bartender, and she was amazing. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and she really knows her stuff. I told her a bit about what I usually like, and she came up with some perfect drink suggestions—each one was spot-on. The whole vibe there, plus Skye’s awesome service, made it a memorable night. If you go, definitely ask her for a recommendation. You won’t be disappointed!

We took the distillery tour with friends and would highly recommend it. Our guide, Chase, was engaging and knowledgeable and the tour was very informative and fun (I always like going behind the scenes to see how things are made).

Drinks afterwards in the bar itself were great. Not alot of food options but they are a bar, not a restaurant.

Parking: Parking can be a challenge in this area. They have a parking lot but it tends to get filled up by the condo residents next door. Street parking is available but hit and miss.

Wheelchair accessibility: The bar appears to be wheelchair friendly but the tour had some stairs (there were elevators for part of it but not all). Check with staff first.

A Distillery with True Craftsmanship!

Spring Mill Distillery never ceases to impress with its dedication to quality and craft. This week, my husband and I had the opportunity to tour the distillery, learn about their processes, and purchase some of their exceptional products, including the John Sleeman and Sons 100% Rye Whisky and Traditional Straight Whisky (similar to bourbon). We also had the pleasure of meeting John Sleeman himself, along with his sons, Quinn and Cooper, who own and operate the distillery.
We were thrilled to hear about the launch of their new single malt whisky, set to debut on Friday, October 18, 2024. If it’s anything like their current offerings, it’s sure to be extraordinary. After learning about the traditional methods, special ingredients, and unique aging process behind it, we can’t wait to try it!
The atmosphere at Spring Mill Distillery is warm and inviting, housed in a beautifully restored stone building dating back to the 1800s, which adds to its charm. The staff are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, offering insights that make each visit feel personal and memorable. Recently, Spring Mill was recognized as Ontario’s Best Distillery in 2024 by the LCBO Effie Awards—an honour that is well-deserved.
