The food was ok. We all found our food mediocre, but everything was bland. The server was nice, but our drink order was forgotten and service wasn't very fast. It was a Friday night, so it was busy. All in all, our experience was only ok and we're not sure we'd return.

Had a great time. Food and service great. However, was surprised that subbing fries for salads cost. Did I miss something? And I got dinged for Dijon mustard. Really? Felt nickel and dimed. I like the Wooly but I worry they are trying to eke out every cent from its customers.

Everything was excellent. Balloons were on our table for our special occasion. Birthday girl didn't have desert so was gifted a $10 gift card for next visit. Totally unexpected. Food was delicious, hot (very important), and more than enough. Ate there twice before and never disappointed. Definitely recommend.

The Wooly is a spot that we'd been to many times when we lived near by. We chose it specifically for the great food and service we had experienced previously and as a half way meeting spot for us and our son and fiancé. We each traveled a little over an hour to celebrate her birthday with a a dinner. The service wasn't awful, in fact it was prompt. However it felt quite aloof, from our server to the person running drinks and the lady who told us we'd have to wrap up because they had a reservation. No suggestion that we could move to the bar area if we'd like; just "move it along" type remarks. Two of the four entrees were quite good. The top of the burger bun I was served was cold to the touch and frozen in the centre. The burger was as dry as could be. It took a few minutes to get the attention of (the lady who told us our table had a reservation). I told her about the bun, her response was "oh?" No apology or remedy offered so, I asked her if i could have it toasted. My son's fiancé had a side of mashed potatoes and gravy with her main. based on the portion, it could have been plated with teaspoon, one teaspoon of each the potatoes and the gravy. It wasn't until we were finished with our food that we were asked how the food was. We enjoyed each other's company, and the night over all but, we were underwhelmed by the Wooly on this visit. Too bad because we have such fond memories of many dinners there in the past.

The Wooly is our “local” where we see friends and share time with our community through conversations and music - part of the community is Caitlin who as staff has helped create the vibe of this wonderful space. She even coordinated our wedding a year ago which we wanted to celebrate at the Wooly because of what it means to us ! Thanks Caitlin for making our wedding and every day there special for everyone ❤️❤️❤️
