Nice pub and service was decent, but it cost $25 plus tip for two diet Pepsis and the world’s smallest poutine!!

For date night, very nice ambiance, reasonable pricing, good variety on the menu, great local craft beer choices. It was busy so service was somewhat slow, but that was understandable. Our server was very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely return.

Great place to have a beer and some food. Not really great to watch a band though, unless you're in the front room.

An enjoyable trip down memory lane with the must-have matching plate. Best there is. Double baked and crispy nacho's. Great selection of beer. And the service was friendly and hospitable. Enjoyable time out.

We have been to the Wooly for dinner but never had come for lunch before. The atmosphere was totally different in that it was quieter, and brighter because of the large windows that let in natural light; something that you do not notice in the dark! Lots of options at great prices for lunch items. We will go there again.

Let me start with the good. The Wooly is quaint and clean. It is a good neighbourhood spot to just have a pint of beer if that’s your thing, as there seems to be lots of alcoholic drafts and nonalcoholic choices. The biggest disappointment was the main meal as it was horrible for what they charge, as I ordered the walleye and chips. I wasn’t expecting the fish to be prepared English style with heavy amounts of mostly batter. What kinda credible chief does this with quality choose fish cut's? To add insult to the way it was prepared the fish was way over cooked and rock hard. You couldn’t cut the fish fillets with a knife, as it was that hard. I have to eat with my hands. The french fries were thin cut and greasy, but not horrible. The chicken wings and caesar salad were both tasteless, but edible. The stand out of the evening was the dessert as it was quite fantastic, as it was totally homemade and worth the $9

Very good experience, again. Staff moved us to a larger table so we had room for our granddaughter to open Christmas gifts. And she loves the fish and chips! Excellent service, great food.

Stopped in for a pint at happy hour.

The food was ok. We all found our food mediocre, but everything was bland. The server was nice, but our drink order was forgotten and service wasn't very fast. It was a Friday night, so it was busy. All in all, our experience was only ok and we're not sure we'd return.

Had a great time. Food and service great. However, was surprised that subbing fries for salads cost. Did I miss something? And I got dinged for Dijon mustard. Really? Felt nickel and dimed. I like the Wooly but I worry they are trying to eke out every cent from its customers.
