This was my first time at Uptown Grill....Mmm YUM! I had the classic breaky and upgraded my home fries to a poutine. It was delicious and as I was very hungry the food filled me up. My server Alejandro provided me with top notch customer service from start to finish, my coffee mug was never empty. He's sweet, cute, funny and helpful! Darlene was also very helpful 👌 Thank you, I will be back!

Breakfast may be good (never been there for breakfast) but lunch was not good. Club sandwich was dry. Bagel with Lox (smoked salmon) would have been good but they didn’t have any horseradish. Whoever heard of smoked salmon without horseradish being available? No desserts available, another negative. Server was very pleasant, no complaints there.

I usually like Uptown, but I'm not thrilled when businesses close earlier than posted hours, without any indication on their website or logical reasons (weather and storms, etc).
I made my choice to walk over after checking that I was still well ahead of closing time to get something to go.
Wanted a takeout order at 1:40, kitchen was already shut down and the dining room was closed.
Thankfully Halibut House next door also serves breakfast until 2pm. Works for me, but it's a shame to lose business due to this, and it definitely will affect my orders in the future.
I'm only one person, and it's only one day, but this type of thing is frustrating.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Uptown Grill in Guelph after a long weekend of camping nearby. Our server, Gemma, was so sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious, served quickly, and the kids loved it too! Definitely a must-try spot for breakfast, and we’ll be sure to come back the next time we’re in the area.
Too much butter in the scrambled eggs made them indigestible.

We had a great breakfast! So much food, classic diner style. The food was a little bland but nothing a little salt and pepper can’t fix. I got the meaty platter (so something like that) and my partner got the classic eggs Benedict. We had to wait a long time to be seated but the servers were very friendly.

Our first and last. Ordered waffle and it was overdone and hard. Wasn’t pleased at all my husband’s peameal was over done too, and price was expensive, we paid that amount from other restaurants with the food we want, at least we tried it.
