We had a wonderful breakfast at Uptown Grill in Guelph after a long weekend of camping nearby. Our server, Gemma, was so sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious, served quickly, and the kids loved it too! Definitely a must-try spot for breakfast, and we’ll be sure to come back the next time we’re in the area.

We had a great breakfast! So much food, classic diner style. The food was a little bland but nothing a little salt and pepper can’t fix. I got the meaty platter (so something like that) and my partner got the classic eggs Benedict. We had to wait a long time to be seated but the servers were very friendly.

Our first and last. Ordered waffle and it was overdone and hard. Wasn’t pleased at all my husband’s peameal was over done too, and price was expensive, we paid that amount from other restaurants with the food we want, at least we tried it.

Ordered the club sandwich and started eating it. Wondering what the strange taste was!? Turns out the chicken breast was marinated in lemon. Well, mayonnaise goes on a club sandwich normally but with lemon chicken it did not taste right. The whole sandwich was ruined! Why wouldn't they tell you that in the description if you're getting a marinated lemon flavored chicken breast on a club sandwich?. Also, they don't have any french fries at this restaurant. The closest you can get is home fries which are not very good at all. We also started with ice waters and it tasted very bad so I have no idea why? I really don't recommend this place for lunch. Our server was very kind and friendly but unfortunately that didn't make up for the food. Also a lot of older people were eating there who used walkers. They did not have the automatic doors or any wheelchair ramps in their park back parking area.

Gemma who served us was wonderful. They had just opened and we were one of their first customers. She greeted us with a big smile and came by regularly to top our coffees and checked on us. The restaurant is very clean and has a charming feel to it. The Benedict’s hollandaise sauce was unbelievably delicious. The home fries were cooked to perfection and the eggs were out of this world. If you are in the neighbourhood, I highly recommend for you to go there.

My partner and I dined today, Saturday Feb 22 around 2pm. We asked the server what she recommends more, the burger or BLT. She said burger. We order and all is good. A few minutes later, she’s talking with a coworker near the kitchen. It is quiet in the restaurant and they are not trying to keep their voices down whatsoever. We hear them mocking us, the server blatantly making fun of my partner for asking about the menu. “Ordering a burger here is like ordering a steak - who comes here for a steak?” Directly making fun of us as well as the establishment, loud enough for tables in the dining room to hear. We were shocked but said nothing. The food was okay, but the poor customer service and lack of professionalism will definitely keep me from coming back.

I'm not sure how this place has such great reviews. We went today for the first time and were disappointed, to say the least. Everything but the potatoes was incredibly salty, it's expensive for the portions, server seemed annoyed to just be there and both my husband and mom are sick after eating their BLTs. Certainly won't be returning. Should have gone to Stacked instead.

What a great place to eat! I can honestly say, i have not had my tables order come out that fast in a very long time! My Mom was so shocked, she thought our waitress brought the wrong food to our table lol Everything was exactly as ordered. Service was polite and efficient, had multiple servers ask if coffees needed warmed up. The restaurant is actually alot bigger than it looks from the road. There was plenty tables full for breakfast, but the place did not seem crowded or uncomortable. An added delight was the trivia on the TV, that gave answers after 10 seconds. It helped add to conversation, while not being distracting, loud or overbearing.

Waitress did her best but she was busy , ordered breakfast ,......dining in , eggs were not fresh ,I believe the scrambled eggs were reheated almost tasted old ....not tasty at all and not cheap ....my husband said the same ..... for the price eggs should be freshly cooked....we are out alot and sorry about the complaint but it's the most expensive place we have dined at for breakfast

I love this place! I went there with friends and everything was so good. I love home fries and french toast. Everyone is super friendly and there are a lot of options, even vegetarian. Highly recommended!
